Soul Flame in Sailor Piece — Drop Rate, Boss Summon, and Crafting Uses

Soul Flame is a Mythical-rarity item in Sailor Piece that sits at the very bottom of the Ichigo boss's loot table. With a drop chance of roughly 0.7 percent, it is the single rarest reward from that encounter — and the key ingredient for crafting the Soul Reaper sword (also referred to as the Ichigo Blade). If you're pushing into late-game progression, you'll almost certainly need multiple copies.

Quick answer: Defeat the Ichigo (Soul Reaper) boss on Boss Island. Each kill has a 0.7% chance to drop the Soul Flame. You need 5 Boss Keys, 350,000 Money, and 600 Gems per summon.

Summoning the Ichigo Boss on Boss Island

The Ichigo boss does not spawn naturally on any island. You have to summon it manually through the Boss Summoner NPC located on Boss Island. Because it's a summoned encounter rather than a timed respawn, you can fight it back-to-back as long as you have the materials — a significant advantage over island bosses that force you to wait on cooldown timers.

Step 1: Travel to Boss Island using any nearby teleportation portal. The portal network connects every major island, so pick whichever is closest to your current location.

Step 2: Speak with the Boss Summoner NPC and scroll through the list until you find the Soul Reaper (Ichigo) boss. Confirm that you have 5 Boss Keys, 350,000 Money, and 600 Gems in your inventory before initiating the summon.

Step 3: Once the boss appears at the center of the island, engage it and deal at least 10% of its maximum health. Falling below that damage threshold disqualifies you from receiving any loot, including the Soul Flame.

Step 4: Check your inventory after the boss dies. If the Soul Flame didn't drop, resummon and repeat. Expect dozens of attempts given the 0.7% probability.

⚠️
Boss Keys are earned by completing quests from Quest NPC 1 through Quest NPC 10. Stock up before you start grinding — running out mid-session stalls your progress.

Ichigo Boss Full Loot Table

Every kill gives you a shot at three possible drops beyond the Soul Flame. Knowing the full table helps you gauge how many runs you'll need for the sword's complete material list.

ItemRarityDrop Chance
Soul FragmentEpic6%
Spiritual CoreLegendary1.75%
Soul FlameMythical0.7%

Soul Fragments will pile up quickly, but Spiritual Cores and Soul Flames require patience. You need 4 Spiritual Cores and 2 Soul Flames for the sword alone, so plan for an extended farming session.

Increasing Your Luck to Improve Drop Rates

Sailor Piece has several built-in luck modifiers that directly affect your loot rolls. Stacking these before you start farming can meaningfully reduce the number of runs required.

Luck SourceBonusHow to Get It
2x / 3x Luck WeekendsGlobal 2x or 3x LuckActivates automatically every weekend for all players
Monarch, Pride, or Espada Clan+10% LuckRoll or reroll into one of these Legendary clans
Fortune Rune+10% to +15% LuckDrops from the Rune Dungeon; bonus scales with rune level
Lucky TitlesVariesEquip titles like Lucky Novice, Fortune Seeker, Lucky Star, Blessed One, The Chosen One, Blessed Sovereign, or Destiny Marked

The most impactful window is a 3x Luck Weekend combined with a Fortune Rune and a Legendary clan bonus. If you can time your grind sessions around weekends, you'll stretch your Boss Keys much further.

Farming Tips for Faster Runs

The Ichigo boss has a large health pool, and solo kills can be slow. Teaming up with other players speeds up each fight significantly, and since everyone who deals at least 10% of the boss's max health qualifies for independent loot rolls, grouping doesn't reduce your chances.

Higher damage output also correlates with better rewards in Sailor Piece's boss system. Optimize your build before you start — strong swords, effective fighting styles, and powerful Devil Fruits all contribute. Equipping luck-boosting runes, titles, and clans on top of a high-damage loadout gives you the best odds per kill.

If another player on your server summons a different boss while you're waiting, you can server hop to find a fresh instance and summon Ichigo again without delay.

Trading for Soul Flame

Player-to-player trading is the only alternative to farming. Soul Flame cannot be purchased with Robux or any in-game currency directly. If you go the trade route, offer items of comparable Mythical rarity and similar drop rates — otherwise, most players won't consider the deal.

Soul Flame Crafting Uses

Soul Flame currently serves two purposes in Sailor Piece, both tied to late-game progression.

UseSoul Flames RequiredOther MaterialsWhere to Turn In
Soul Reaper Sword24 Spiritual Cores, 8 Soul Fragments, 8,500 Gems, 5,000,000 MoneyIchigo NPC at Hueco Mundo (also called Hollow Island)
Ascension Level 633 Blood Rings, plus additional tasksAscension system

The Soul Reaper sword is the primary reason most players farm this item. It features extremely long-range attacks with a distinctive blood-red visual effect and fits well into mid-to-late-game builds. Every material needed for the sword drops exclusively from the Ichigo boss, so a sustained grind at Boss Island covers all your requirements in one loop.

Ascension Level 6 also demands Soul Flames alongside Blood Rings, which drop from the Alucard boss at a 2% rate. Reaching this ascension tier grants money, luck, and gem buffs that compound your farming efficiency for future items.

Verification — How to Confirm You Got the Drop

After the Ichigo boss dies, any loot you qualify for appears in your inventory immediately. Open your inventory screen and filter by Mythical rarity — the Soul Flame will show up there if it dropped. If your inventory is empty after a kill, you either didn't meet the 10% damage threshold or the 0.7% roll simply didn't land. Resummon and try again.

Soul Flame is a straightforward but patience-testing grind. Stock up on Boss Keys, stack every luck modifier you can, and aim your farming sessions at weekends when the global luck multiplier is active. Five to ten Soul Flames will cover both the sword craft and Ascension 6, so settle in for the long haul.
