The Forge’s Winter update drops a limited-time Santa Shop on Frostspire Expanse, trading XMas Tickets for some of the strongest mining tools and useful consumables in the game. To get value out of the event, you need to know where Santa is, how his daily quests work, when they reset, and which rewards are worth prioritizing.
Santa Shop location and event dates
Santa’s Shop lives on the third island, Frostspire Expanse. You must be at least level 70 to reach this island.

Step 1: Level your character to 70 or higher through your usual combat, mining, and forging loops.
Step 2: Place a Portal and travel to the Frostspire Expanse (Island 3).
Step 3: After you spawn in, walk to the docks directly next to the spawn point. Santa is on a festive boat moored there.

The Santa Shop event runs from December 25, 2,25 through January 1, 2026. Once the event ends, the shop and its XMas Ticket currency are no longer available.
How the Santa quests and XMas Tickets work
Santa offers three quest types tied to the game’s core loops:
- Fight – kill specific spiders in the Spider Cave.
- Mine – gather event ores such as Icy Pebbles and Ice Rocks.
- Forge – craft a small batch of weapons and armor.
Each completed quest rewards XMas Tickets. These tickets are the only currency accepted by Santa’s Shop and are used to buy Christmas-themed potions, totems, race rerolls, weapon blueprints, and two limited pickaxes.
To avoid walking back to the boat repeatedly, activate all three quest types at once before heading into the cave or mines. All current Santa quests then show up on the left side of your screen, updating as you progress.
Day 1 Santa quests and strategies
Santa’s Workshop Warm-Up (Day 1) – 120 XMas Tickets
Objectives:
- Forge 3 Weapons
- Forge 3 Armor Pieces
This is a low-friction crafting check with no ore restrictions. Use three of your lowest-tier ores to keep the cost down and quickly craft cheap items, such as basic Daggers or Lightweight Helmets. If your pickaxe struggles on Island 3 ores, mine on earlier islands, then come back to any forge to complete the recipe requirements.

Cold as Snow (Day 1) – 140 XMas Tickets
Objective:
- Mine 50 Icy Pebbles
Icy Pebbles are found in the Spider Cave. You can mine them with an Arcane Pickaxe or a Demonic Pickaxe from Island 2, and any higher-tier pickaxe from Island 3 also works. If your current tool is weak for Frostspire Expanse, run the cave slowly and focus only on Pebble nodes while avoiding larger enemies.
Santa’s Pest Control (Day 1) – 160 XMas Tickets
Objectives:
- Kill 25 Crystal Spiders
- Kill 5 Diamond Spiders
Both Crystal and Diamond Spiders spawn inside the Spider Cave. Crystal Spiders have lower health but still hit hard, so bring a weapon in the 80–100 damage range at minimum and armor that can survive multiple hits. The densest farming spot is toward the back of the cave, where both spider types cluster. Stay mobile, watch your health bar, and reset the pack as needed instead of tanking every hit.

Day 2 Santa quests and strategies
Santa’s Workshop Warm-Up (Day 2) – 140 XMas Tickets
Objectives:
- Forge 3 Weapons
- Forge 3 Armor Pieces
Day 2’s Warm-Up repeats the same requirements as Day 1. Again, dump low-value ores into cheap weapon and armor recipes to clear it quickly. If you already have an ore surplus from normal play, this is essentially free tickets.
Cold as Snow – Frozen Layers (Day 2) – 145 XMas Tickets
Objectives:
- Mine 10 Icy Pebbles
- Mine 50 Ice Rocks
Ice Rocks are a step up in hardness and only respond to Island 3 pickaxes. A Tungsten Pickaxe is the starting point, but the Aqua Pickaxe offers better mining stats and speeds up the grind significantly. Once equipped, head into the Frostspire mines, clear ten Icy Pebbles along the way, and then focus on Ice Rock nodes until the counter hits 50.

Santa’s Pest Control – 2 (Day 2) – 210 XMas Tickets
Objectives:
- Kill 25 Diamond Spiders
- Kill 3 Prismarine Spider
This combat quest is the most demanding of the set. Diamond Spiders appear deeper in the Spider Cave and can stun, often attacking from the sides while you are focused on a bigger target. Prismarine Spiders are tougher elite enemies.
There is a critical nuance: if you die while fighting a Prismarine Spider and then return to finish it, that kill does not count toward the quest. You need to secure each Prismarine kill in a single life. Watch your HP closely and disengage early if you drop too low; re-enter once your health has regenerated rather than risking a failed count.
Santa quest reset timing
Santa’s quests reset every 24 hours, but the timer is tracked per player, not globally across a server.
Each time you complete one of Santa’s quests, a 24-hour cooldown starts for that specific quest type for your account. You can only complete one Fight, one Mine, and one Forge quest during each 24-hour window per type, which prevents infinite ticket farming in a single day.
In practice, that means:
- If you finish your Forge quest at 14:00, the Forge slot becomes available again at 14:00 the next day.
- Fight and Mine quests have their own independent completion timestamps and reset times.
To maximize tickets within the limited event window, try to complete all three quest types once per day on your own schedule, rather than delaying and stacking them.

Santa Shop rewards and item stats
Santa’s inventory mixes temporary boosters, one-time-use utility, and permanent weapons and tools. Some items have limited stock per account; others are tagged as Limited, meaning they are event exclusives.
| Item | Price (XMas Tickets) | Stock | Effect / Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Christmas Potion | 50 | 10 | 25% faster mining, 20% extra mining damage, and 25% extra luck for 900 seconds. |
| XP Totem | 50 | 3 | Grants a 25% XP boost. |
| Vitality Totem | 50 | 3 | Regenerates 1% of your health per second. |
| Warrior Totem | 50 | 3 | Increases physical damage by 15% and movement speed by 20%. |
| Miner Totem | 100 | 3 | Improves mining speed by 20% and mining damage by 15%. |
| Luck Totem | 150 | 3 | Provides a 25% luck increase. |
| Hell Slayer | 200 | Limited | Blueprint for a Straight Sword-class blade, designed around rare materials and high late-game damage. |
| Candy Cane | 1,200 | Limited | Blueprint for a deceptively festive Straight Sword with a hardened crystallized edge. |
| Candy Cane Pickaxe | 800 | Limited | 280 Mine Power and +65% Luck Boost. |
| Race Reroll | 650 | 5 | Lets you change your race without other costs. |
| Christmas Pickaxe | 3,600 | Limited | 550 Mine Power and +72% Luck Boost. |
Once you purchase an item that has a stock number, that count decreases permanently for your account. The Christmas Shop cannot be restocked; when you exhaust your stock for an item or clear the entire shop, it stays empty for the rest of the event.
Which Santa Shop rewards to buy first
For most players, Limited-tag items are the highest priority because they are tied to the event window and provide long-term benefits.
- Christmas Pickaxe is the standout purchase. Its 550 Mine Power and 72% Luck Boost put it among the strongest tools in the game, capable of mining the materials needed for late-game pickaxes such as the Prismatic Pickaxe.
- Candy Cane Pickaxe is cheaper and still very strong with 280 Mine Power and 65% Luck. It is a solid pickup if you cannot reach 3,600 tickets before the event ends.
- Hell Slayer and Candy Cane blueprints unlock seasonal Straight Swords that remain craftable after the event, provided you have the required materials.
Among consumables, the Christmas Potion and totems are situational but efficient:
- Christmas Potion is ideal for concentrated mining sessions in the Frostspire mines or when pushing for rare ore drops thanks to its combined mining and luck bonuses.
- XP Totem accelerates leveling during longer combat sessions, while Vitality Totem and Warrior Totem make difficult encounters such as Prismarine Spiders more forgiving.
- Race Reroll is a flexible utility option if you are unhappy with your current race traits and want a clean reset without spending other currencies.
Both the Christmas Pickaxe and the Void Pickaxe occupy the same tier of end-game tools and can mine the rarities needed for the Prismatic Pickaxe. If you already own Void, Christmas is still worth buying during the event window; if you own neither, aim to secure both over time.

How many tickets you realistically need
Each quest day offers one Forge, one Mine, and one Fight quest, with rewards that scale with difficulty. Day 1 caps at 120–160 tickets per quest, while Day 2 tasks pay up to 210 tickets. With resets tied to your completion time rather than a global clock, it is technically possible to fit more than the bare minimum of cycles into the event window if you play consistently around the 24-hour marks.
For planning, assume that clearing all three available quests for several days will generate enough XMas Tickets to buy the key Limited items, including the 3,600-ticket Christmas Pickaxe, especially if you spend lightly on consumables early on.
With that in mind, the most efficient event loop is simple: reach Frostspire Expanse at level 70, activate all three Santa quests each day, clear the Spider Cave and mines with appropriately leveled gear, then funnel your XMas Tickets into Limited shop items before experimenting with potions and totems.
