The Sims 4 Satisfaction Points Cheats (February 2026) — How to Get Unlimited Points

Satisfaction Points in The Sims 4 are a currency used to buy traits and potions from the Rewards Store. Cheats let you add any amount of points directly to the active Sim.

All Satisfaction Points cheats in The Sims 4

The core cheat for Satisfaction Points is a single command that works on PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox, as long as cheats are enabled:

Code Reward Status
sims.give_satisfaction_points [number] Adds the chosen amount of Satisfaction Points to the active Sim Working

Replace [number] with any whole number of points, for example:

  • sims.give_satisfaction_points 5000 — adds 5,000 points
  • sims.give_satisfaction_points 4000 — enough for the Hardly Hungry reward trait
  • sims.give_satisfaction_points 1500 — enough for Potion of Youth

The maximum Satisfaction Points a single Sim can hold is 2,147,483,647. Do not use commas in the number.

How to enable cheats and open the cheat console

Step 1: While in Live mode, open the cheat console:

  • PC: press Ctrl + Shift + C
  • Mac: press Command + Shift + C
  • PlayStation / Xbox: hold all four shoulder buttons (L1 + R1 + L2 + R2 or LB + RB + LT + RT) at the same time

Step 2: In the text box that appears at the top of the screen, type:

testingcheats true

or

testingcheats on

then press Enter/Confirm. A confirmation message appears that cheats are enabled.

Step 3: Select the Sim you want to receive Satisfaction Points by clicking their portrait so they are the active Sim.

How to use sims.give_satisfaction_points correctly

Step 1: With cheats enabled and the correct Sim active, open the cheat console again with the same key or button combination.

Step 2: Type the cheat with the amount you want, for example:

sims.give_satisfaction_points 5000

then press Enter/Confirm.

Step 3: Look at the top-right corner of the screen: a notification briefly shows the number of Satisfaction Points added. You can also hover over the total in the Aspirations panel to verify the new amount.

Tip: Start with a small value such as 10 to confirm it works before adding a large amount.

How to open and use the Rewards Store

Step 1: Click the Aspirations icon (the star) at the bottom right to open the Aspirations panel.

Step 2: Click the Rewards Store button. This shows all potions and traits you can buy with Satisfaction Points, along with their cost.

Step 3: Spend your points on any unlocked reward. Traits are permanent for that Sim; potions are consumed when used.

If the Satisfaction Points cheat worked, the total shown in this panel will match what you added and decrease as you buy rewards.

The game also includes cheats that interact with aspirations and Satisfaction:

  • aspirations.complete_current_milestone — instantly completes the active Sim’s current aspiration milestone and grants the normal Satisfaction Points for it.
  • sims.add_buff Points — adds 100 Aspiration Points to the active Sim.

These commands can be run repeatedly to complete an aspiration and earn its reward trait while also generating large amounts of Satisfaction Points.

Common reasons the Satisfaction Points cheat does not work

If sims.give_satisfaction_points does nothing or returns an error, check these conditions:

Step 1: Confirm cheats are enabled. Run:

testingcheats true

again and look for the confirmation message.

Step 2: Check the spelling and format:

  • Use all lowercase for the command: sims.give_satisfaction_points
  • Include a single space before the number
  • Do not add brackets, commas, or a Sim name

Step 3: Make sure a Sim is active. The cheat applies to whichever Sim’s portrait is selected; if no Sim is selected (for example in Manage Worlds) it will not run.

Step 4: On console, be aware that using cheats that require testingcheats true disables Achievements and Trophies for that save.

Once these points are correct, running sims.give_satisfaction_points 5000 will reliably add Satisfaction Points to the active Sim, which you can then spend immediately in the Rewards Store.
