Unlocking Blessed Maiden in Sailor Piece — Every Material and Boss Spawn Requirement

Blessed Maiden (also known as Carthetiya) arrived with Sailor Piece's Huge Update as the 12th melee fighting style — and it immediately became the best melee option in the game. Its smooth animations and massive damage output, especially once the F Move is unlocked, put it well ahead of older specs. The catch is that obtaining it requires repeated boss kills, a pile of rare materials, and a separate mastery grind for the F Move.

Quick answer: Travel to Boss Island, farm the Blessed Maiden Boss for materials, then purchase the fighting style from the Blessed Maiden Seller NPC on the far cliff of Boss Island. Unlock the F Move separately through the Move Mastery NPC nearby.

Materials needed to buy Blessed Maiden

The Blessed Maiden Seller NPC stands on a cliff at the opposite end of Boss Island from where you teleport in. You cannot simply walk up and buy the spec — you need every item listed below before the NPC will hand it over.

ItemQuantityHow to obtain
Gems32,500Quests, chests, boss drops, and code redemptions
Tempest Relic25Drops from mobs and bosses that use melee fighting styles
Tide Remnant14Blessed Maiden Boss drop (higher difficulty = better odds)
Gale Essence8Blessed Maiden Boss drop
Aero Core3Blessed Maiden Boss drop
Celestial Mark1Blessed Maiden Boss drop
Astral Empress (Title)1Blessed Maiden Boss drop

Most of the grind revolves around killing the Blessed Maiden Boss repeatedly. Tempest Relics are the exception — you farm those from melee-type NPCs scattered around the game world. Stock up on Tempest Relics early because you need them both to spawn the boss and as a purchase requirement.

Spawning the Blessed Maiden Boss

The Blessed Maiden Boss appears on Boss Island, but only when you summon it through the Boss Summoner NPC. Each difficulty tier costs a different combination of Tempest Relics, Money, and Gems.

DifficultyTempest RelicsMoneyGemsBoss HP
Normal1600,000600~650 million
Medium2750,000750Higher
Hard3850,000850Higher
Extreme41,250,0001,250~10 billion

Higher difficulties significantly increase the drop chances for Gale Essence, Aero Core, Celestial Mark, and the Astral Empress title. If you have the damage to handle Hard or Extreme, those difficulties will shorten the overall grind considerably. Normal mode works if you're still building up your stats, but expect many more runs before the rarer items drop.

💡
The Astral Empress title also provides a +70% Damage Buff when equipped, making it useful well beyond just unlocking Blessed Maiden.

Purchasing Blessed Maiden from the NPC

Step 1: Teleport to Boss Island and head to the far end of the island. The Blessed Maiden Seller NPC stands on a cliff overlooking the edge.

Step 2: Interact with the NPC. If you have all 32,500 Gems, 25 Tempest Relics, 14 Tide Remnants, 8 Gale Essences, 3 Aero Cores, 1 Celestial Mark, and the Astral Empress title, the NPC will exchange them for the Blessed Maiden fighting style.

Step 3: Once the transaction completes, Blessed Maiden appears in your fighting style inventory. You can immediately use the Z, X, C, and V moves. The F Move, however, requires a separate unlock.

Unlocking the Blessed Maiden F Move

Blessed Maiden is one of the few fighting styles in Sailor Piece where the F Move isn't included by default. You need to craft the F Move Mastery through a different NPC, also located on Boss Island. From the Blessed Maiden Seller NPC, head to the right — the Move Mastery NPC stands on a nearby cliff.

Galevron (Race)EquippedRace Rerolls

The Galevron race is a mythical-rarity race that you can only obtain through Race Rerolls. You must have it actively equipped when you talk to the Mastery NPC — simply owning it isn't enough. Galevron also happens to be the best race for melee builds in general, so keeping it equipped after the unlock is a good idea.

Once you turn in the materials and meet the race requirement, the NPC crafts the F Move Mastery. This grants two things: the Blessed Maiden F Move itself and a permanent +30% Damage Buff for all Blessed Maiden attacks.

The F Move deals dramatically more damage than any other Blessed Maiden ability — roughly 4.5 billion in optimized setups. It is the single biggest reason to complete the mastery grind.

Blessed Maiden Boss bonus drops

While farming the Blessed Maiden Boss for spec materials, you may also receive the Maiden Outfit accessory. At max enhancement (E10), the Maiden Outfit provides +145% Defense, +110% Damage, and +35% Damage Reduction. Higher boss difficulty increases the chance of this drop, so running Hard or Extreme whenever possible pays off in multiple ways.

Farming strategy

The bottleneck for most players is Tempest Relics. You need 25 just to buy the base spec, then another 75 for the F Move Mastery — 100 total, plus however many you spend summoning the boss. Focus early sessions on grinding melee-type NPCs to build a large Tempest Relic stockpile before you start boss summoning in earnest.

When you do start boss runs, choose the highest difficulty you can reliably clear. The rare drops — Celestial Mark, Aero Core, and the Astral Empress title — have noticeably better rates on Hard and Extreme. If you're running with a group, Extreme becomes much more manageable despite the boss's 10 billion HP pool.

Blessed Maiden is currently the strongest melee fighting style in Sailor Piece, outperforming every older spec in both raw damage and animation quality. The grind is substantial, but the payoff — especially once the F Move is active — makes it one of the most worthwhile investments in the game's current meta.
