Unlocking Deadly Sentencing — Judgeman Domain Expansion in Jujutsu Zero

The Judgeman Update brought Hiromi Higuruma's Cursed Technique to Jujutsu Zero, and with it comes one of the game's most unique Domain Expansions: Deadly Sentencing. Unlike standard domains that simply trap and damage enemies, Deadly Sentencing triggers a trial sequence. Win the trial, secure the Death Penalty verdict, and you receive the Executioner Sword — a weapon capable of one-shotting regular mobs and shredding boss HP bars with attacks that deal into the millions.

Quick answer: Unlock all Judgeman Cursed Technique moves (requires 100 Mastery), then spend 75 Mastery, 100,000 Yen, 1 Domain Fragment, 3 Case Files, and 3 Judgement Scales to unlock Deadly Sentencing from the Stats > Mastery > Techniques menu.

Judgeman Domain Expansion Unlock Requirements

Before you can even see the Deadly Sentencing unlock option, you need to obtain the Judgeman Cursed Technique and unlock every move in its skill tree — including Gavel Jump Smash. Grinding the Injured Student quests at Jujutsu High is the fastest way to reach 100 Judgeman Mastery, which is enough to unlock the full move set. Once Gavel Jump Smash is unlocked, the Deadly Sentencing option appears.

Mastery and Yen accumulate naturally from any quest grind. The three special materials — Domain Fragment, Case Files, and Judgement Scales — each require specific activities.

How to Get the Domain Fragment

Domain Fragments drop from various crates, including Valuable Crates and Calamity Crates. The drop is RNG-based, so there is no guaranteed method. Speed-clearing raids like the Jogo Raid or Toji Raid maximize the number of crate openings per hour, which is the most efficient farming strategy. Bring a high-damage group to cut clear times down.

How to Get All 3 Case Files

Case Files are the most straightforward materials to collect because they come from guaranteed quest completions rather than random drops. You need to complete three quests from the Shimizu NPC and two quests from the Traumatized Client NPC. The full quest chain requires Level 500+, so level up beforehand if you are below that threshold.

Shimizu NPC Quests (Case File 1)

Step 1: Teleport to the TP4 Teleport Point. Walk behind the large rock to the right of the teleport to find a hidden cave entrance. The Shimizu NPC is standing inside at map coordinates 803, 264, 2244.

Step 2: Accept and complete all three quests from Shimizu. Each quest asks you to find a piece of evidence, and a directional pointer appears on screen when you accept one.

Quest NameLevel Requirement
Torn Files300+
Witness Stand350+
Bloody Gravel400+

Step 3: Follow the on-screen pointer for each quest to locate the evidence. Completing all three quests rewards 1× Case File.

Traumatized Client NPC Quests (Case Files 2 and 3)

Step 1: Head to the center of the Mountain Plains area and find the Traumatized Client NPC at map coordinates 1215, 177, 882.

Step 2: Accept the first quest, "Interrogate the Witnesses" (Level 450+). A pointer guides you to the Witness NPC. Be careful during this fight — the Witness has low HP but deals percentage-based damage, so dodging is critical.

Step 3: Accept the second quest, "Defeat the Unjust Judge" (Level 500+). Follow the pointer again and defeat the Unjust Judge. He hits harder than the Witness but falls to any solid cursed technique build.

Each of these two combat quests rewards 1× Case File, bringing your total to three.

How to Get 3 Judgement Scales

Judgement Scales are the hardest material to farm because they drop exclusively from the Deadly Judge Overworld Raid at a 3.5% chance per clear. You must be at least Level 300 to participate.

Step 1: Travel to the Infinity Raid NPC area and look for the giant gavel sitting on top of wooden crates to the right of the Infinity Raid NPC (map coordinates -1009, 105, 1279). Interact with the gavel to start the Deadly Judge Raid.

Step 2: Defeat the Deadly Judge. Every clear guarantees Lumens, Yen, XP, Mastery, and a Cursed Crate. The Judgement Scale, however, only has a 3.5% drop rate.

Step 3: Repeat until you have three Judgement Scales. Expect a significant grind — at 3.5% per run, you may need dozens of clears.

Focus on farming Case Files first since they are guaranteed drops. Save the Judgement Scale grind for last so you don't burn out before collecting the easier materials.

Judgeman Cursed Technique Skill Breakdown

While working toward the Domain Expansion, you will be using the base Judgeman move set extensively. Every hit with these skills fills the Guilty bar. Once full, you receive a 30% damage boost for 25 seconds — try to trigger this passive right before activating Deadly Sentencing or using Gavel Blitz on a boss.

SkillDamage OutputCooldownNotes
Gavel Smash~637K3sAoE frontal strike, strong for mob farming
Gavel Toss~1M5sRanged throw, good for spacing
Gavel Jump Smash~900K9sAerial slam, AoE on landing
Gavel Blitz~1.34M6sTeleport + 4-hit combo, primary boss killer

Deadly Sentencing Domain Mechanics

Activating Deadly Sentencing puts your target on trial. The domain triggers a judgment sequence, and if you secure the Death Penalty verdict, your gavel shatters to reveal the Executioner Sword. This weapon completely replaces your move set with two devastating attacks.

Executioner Sword SkillDamageCooldown
Stab~5 Million3s
Thrust~10 Million (multi-hit)

The Executioner Sword's effectiveness varies by enemy type. Regular mobs are instantly killed. Bosses take raw damage plus a percentage of their maximum HP, making the sword extremely effective for melting high-HP targets. In the Infinity Raid, however, percentage-based HP mechanics are disabled for balance, so only raw damage applies.

Best Clan Pairing and Meta Standing

The Higurama Clan synergizes perfectly with the Judgeman Cursed Technique, granting +60 ATK, +5% DMG AMP, and +10% DR when paired together. That said, Judgeman is not currently the top meta technique in Jujutsu Zero — Mythical Beast Amber still holds that position. Judgeman is nonetheless a strong and viable pick, especially for players who enjoy its unique trial-based Domain Expansion.

Once you have gathered all five materials and meet the 75 Mastery threshold, navigate to Stats > Mastery > Techniques and unlock Deadly Sentencing. The unlock is instant, and you will see the Domain Expansion option appear in your skill loadout. From there, the courtroom is yours.
