Unlocking the Ice Queen Sword in Sailor Piece — Every Material, Boss Summon, and F Move Requirement

The Ice Queen (Esdeath) sword is one of the strongest late-game weapons in Sailor Piece, combining flashy ice-themed animations with massive AOE damage that can reach 100 billion on its ultimate ability. Getting it requires farming a specific boss, collecting rare materials, earning a title, and spending 40,000 gems — plus additional grinding if you want to unlock the devastating F move.

Quick answer: Purchase the Ice Queen sword from the Esdeath NPC on Boss Island after collecting the Frost Empress title, 1 Ice Core, 4 Frozen Brands, 9 Glacier Remnants, 17 Battle Shards, 25 Frost Relics, and 40,000 gems. All materials except Frost Relics drop exclusively from the Ice Queen boss.

Ice Queen Sword Materials and Drop Rates

Every crafting material for the sword comes from defeating the Ice Queen boss on Boss Island, with one exception. Frost Relics drop from all mobs, mini-bosses, and world bosses across the game. The Frost Empress title is the hardest piece to obtain, but a built-in pity system guarantees it after 155 kills without a drop.

MaterialQuantity NeededBase Drop Rate
Frost Empress (Title)10.65% (155 pity)
Ice Core10.4%
Frozen Brand41%
Glacier Remnant94%
Battle Shard1713%
Frost Relic25Low (all mobs)
Gems40,000N/A

Higher boss difficulty levels improve drop rates across the board, so running Hard or Extreme is worth the extra resources if your build can handle it.

Summoning the Ice Queen Boss on Boss Island

The Ice Queen doesn't roam the map — you summon her manually. Travel to Boss Island through the portal, then interact with the Boss Summoner NPC. Scroll down to find the Ice Queen option, select your preferred difficulty, and hit Spawn. Each summon costs Frost Relics, money, and gems, with costs scaling by difficulty.

DifficultyBoss HPFrost RelicsMoneyGems
Normal1,650,000,0001750,000750
Medium5,000,000,00021,000,0001,000

Extreme32,500,000,00041,000,0001,000
💡
If you're short on Frost Relics, you can still participate in someone else's boss fight on Boss Island and collect drops without spending your own summoning materials.

Buying the Sword from the Esdeath NPC

Step 1: Once you've gathered every material listed above, head to Boss Island and walk under the hand-shaped statue on the right side of the boss arena.

Step 2: Locate the Esdeath NPC (the Ice Queen Seller), positioned just to the right of the Blessed Maiden NPC behind the boss spawn area.

Step 3: Interact with the NPC and confirm the purchase. The sword, all required materials, and 40,000 gems will be consumed, and the Ice Queen sword will appear in your inventory.

There is also a Robux shortcut. The Ice Queen sword can be purchased from the in-game shop for 1,399 Robux, and a bundle that includes the Ice Queen Outfit is available for 1,349 Robux. The bundle discount is time-limited and may change with future updates.

Defeating the Ice Queen Boss Efficiently

The Ice Queen has enormous HP pools and applies slowing debuffs throughout the fight. A strong damage-focused build is essential — equip your best sword, artifacts, and accessories to maximize DPS. If you plan to AFK farm, make sure your damage output can clear the boss in a reasonable number of hits, or the process will stall.

Luck matters just as much as damage here. Titles, clans, and races that boost luck directly improve your chances of receiving rare drops like the Ice Core and Frost Empress title. Balancing damage and luck in your loadout will save you dozens of runs over time.

Unlocking the Ice Queen F Move

The Ice Queen sword ships with five usable moves (Z, X, C, V), but its strongest ability — the F move — is locked behind a separate mastery requirement. This ultimate summons a massive forward-traveling blizzard lasting roughly five seconds, dealing up to 100 billion damage. Unlocking it also permanently adds a +30% damage bonus to the sword.

F Move Requirements

RequirementHow to Obtain
Ice Queen SwordMust already be in your inventory
Frostbane ClanClan Rerolls (Legendary rarity; 500-roll pity for a guaranteed Legendary)
2x Ice CoreIce Queen boss drop (0.5% base rate)
10x Frozen BrandIce Queen boss drop (1.5% base rate)
85x Frost RelicDropped by all mobs, mini-bosses, and world bosses

Finding the Ice Queen F Move Mastery NPC

Step 1: Teleport to Boss Island and enter the boss arena by turning left past the Boss Summoner.

Step 2: Look to the right for three large trees. Use Air Jumps to reach the top of the tree shaped like an open hand.

Step 3: The Ice Queen F Move Mastery NPC stands at the top of that tree, alongside the Corrupted Excalibur Trainer, King of Heroes Trainer, and Moon Slayer F Move Mastery NPCs. Interact with the NPC and confirm the craft.

⚠️
Frostbane is a Legendary Clan with a very low roll rate. The pity system guarantees a Legendary Clan after 500 Clan Rerolls, but the pity counter resets if you land a Legendary before reaching 500. Redeem any active Sailor Piece codes for free Clan Rerolls to speed this up.

Ice Queen Full Moveset and Damage

With all moves unlocked, the Ice Queen sword offers a complete kit of AOE ice attacks. The V move triggers a cinematic cutscene with heavy forward damage, while the F move blankets a huge area in a sustained blizzard.

KeyEffectDamage
ZSlash combo into an upward jump with AOE burst1.65 billion
XThrow piercing ice shards in a straight line1.95 billion
CLarge AOE ice blast centered on your position3.9 billion
VCutscene attack dealing sustained forward damage23 billion
FSummon a long-lasting blizzard covering a massive AOE100 billion

When using the F move, your character cannot move for the duration of the blizzard. Face your target before activating it, since the blizzard only travels forward.

Ice Queen Outfit — Bonus Boss Drop

The Ice Queen Outfit is a separate accessory that drops directly from the Ice Queen boss at roughly a 1% rate. It provides defensive buffs, damage reduction, and a damage boost, making it one of the better late-game wearables. Unlike the sword, the outfit has no crafting recipe — it either drops or it doesn't.

For outfit farming specifically, running Normal difficulty is often more efficient. The slightly lower drop rate is offset by dramatically faster kill times, letting you squeeze in more runs per session. Stacking luck from titles, clans, and races remains critical. If you have enough Frost Relics stockpiled, enable auto-spawn to farm the boss in AFK mode without manual intervention.

The Ice Queen sword demands serious investment — between the Frost Empress title grind, the Frostbane Clan rolls, and the sheer volume of Frost Relics needed for both the sword and the F move mastery, expect to spend a significant amount of time on Boss Island. The payoff, though, is a weapon whose ultimate alone deals 100 billion damage across a wide area, making it one of the most powerful swords currently available in Sailor Piece.
