Where Art Thou My Love in Arknights: Endfield – Full Mission Walkthrough

“Where Art Thou My Love” is an Exploration Mission in Arknights: Endfield set in Valley IV’s Valley Pass. It revolves around Rosa, a refugee searching for her missing partner Romano, and uses many of the game’s traversal and power-routing systems in a compact, story-driven slice of gameplay.

How to unlock Where Art Thou My Love

Requirement: Reach Authority Level 15 and have access to Valley Pass in Valley IV.

Step 1: Progress the main story in Valley IV until Valley Pass is freely explorable again. This happens after you clear the main questline in the area and regain access to the Valley Pass zone.

Step 2: Once your Authority Level hits 15, travel to Valley Pass – Passage Entrance. Rosa patrols along the right side of the main road near the entrance, marked with a mission icon.

Step 3: Talk to Rosa to start the mission. She will explain that her lover is missing near Landbreaker territory and will mark his last known location on your map.

Mission overview and rewards

Where Art Thou My Love is labeled as an Exploration Mission in Valley IV, Valley Pass. It mixes combat, climbing, and AIC infrastructure work (Relay Towers and power routing) to reach Romano’s position.

Field Details
Mission type Exploration Mission
Region Valley IV, Valley Pass (Passage Entrance and nearby Hub/Refugee Camp)
Quest giver Rosa
Main objectives Find Rosa’s love (Romano) and bring his watch back to her
Total rewards 1350 T-Creds, 25 Oroberyl, 6 Intermediate Combat Record, 6 Arms INSP Kit, 100 EXP

These rewards also count toward regional mission completion in Valley IV.

Where to start the mission (Valley Pass)

Step 1: Teleport to the Passage Entrance teleport point in Valley Pass, which sits at the southern entrance to the pass.

Step 2: From the teleport, walk straight along the main road toward the Valley Transfer area. Rosa paces back and forth on the path and is hard to miss once the mission is available.

Step 3: Speak with Rosa. After the cutscene, the mission log tracks two broad objectives:

  • Find Rosa’s Lover
  • Take the watch to Rosa

Find Rosa’s love in Valley Pass

The path to Romano runs through a warehouse area and then up to elevated structures. Think of it in two layers: first, ground-level investigation and combat; second, vertical traversal using ropes, Relay Towers, and a jump pad powered by an Electric Nexus.

Step 1: Follow the quest marker from Passage Entrance into Valley Pass. The route leads to a large warehouse-like structure near Landbreaker positions.

Step 2: At the warehouse entrance, inspect the small crate to the right of the doorway when prompted. This yields a note and pushes the objective further up the mountain path above the building.

Step 3: Move around to the left side of the warehouse entrance and interact with the rope there. This rope brings you to the roof and the higher path above the building.

Step 4: Proceed along the upper path and defeat the Landbreaker enemies guarding the route. Clearing them is important; several triggers and traversal options only activate correctly once the area is safe.

Step 5: Keep climbing until you reach a seemingly dead-end platform overlooking the warehouse below. Clear the full group of enemies here. A chest may unlock when the platform is fully cleared, and this also stabilizes the next movement options.

At this stage, you are still below Romano’s actual location. To reach him, you need to bring power to an Electric Nexus and use the jump pad attached to it.

Power the Electric Nexus and activate the jump pad

The mission’s central puzzle is routing power from your existing AIC network to an Electric Nexus near the warehouse, which in turn feeds a jump pad. There are two slightly different but consistent descriptions of the network: one ties back to the Refugee Camp built in the Secure Sanctuary main quest; another starts from the Hub’s bridge into Valley Pass. Both describe a Relay Tower chain delivering energy into the same Nexus.

Step 1: Locate the Electric Nexus near the warehouse roof. The associated jump pad sits on top of, or just above, the warehouse area. You may also see ropes near it that you can activate for easier access later.

Step 2: Activate all nearby ropes you can interact with, including the one close to the Nexus and any rope near the Valley Pass side. This gives you quick climbs back to the Nexus and jump pad if you need to adjust your setup.

Step 3: Travel to the power source you previously established in Valley IV. This is either the Refugee Camp Sub-AIC unit from the Secure Sanctuary questline or the Bridge area in the Hub that leads into Valley Pass, depending on how your network is described in your run.

Step 4: Start power transmission from that Sub-AIC or Hub node and begin dropping Relay Towers toward Valley Pass. Build a line of Relay Towers that runs all the way to the Electric Nexus overlooking the warehouse. Expect to install several towers; in many setups, four towers between the Hub bridge and the Nexus are enough.

Step 5: Place the final Relay Tower on the upper level near the rope above the warehouse and connect it directly to the Electric Nexus. Once power flows, you will see the Nexus activate, and the jump pad come online.

Step 6: Return to the Nexus area using your newly activated rope or by climbing back up manually. Stand on the jump pad it powers, and use it to launch yourself to the higher container platform that the marker now targets.

Tip: If the jump pad or Nexus refuses to activate, double-check that every Relay Tower in the chain is connected and that you have cleared all enemies on the relevant platforms.

Speak to Romano in the container

Step 1: After using the jump pad, land on the upper level above the earlier warehouse zone. The objective marker should now hover near a stack of shipping containers.

Step 2: Approach the marked container. Interact with the door to trigger a cutscene and reveal Romano hiding inside.

Step 3: During the conversation, Romano explains why he has not returned to Rosa. He refuses to go back and instead hands you Romano’s watch, asking you to deliver it to Rosa with a specific message about his fate.

At the end of this dialogue, the mission objective updates to sending you back to Rosa with the watch.

Return the watch to Rosa and choose what to tell her

The final leg of the mission is entirely narrative. Your choice in the last dialogue changes Rosa’s immediate reaction but not the material rewards or mission completion.

Step 1: Use fast travel or backtrack through Valley Pass to the Passage Entrance teleport and reach Rosa’s position on the main road.

Step 2: Talk to Rosa and hand over Romano’s watch. She asks you what happened to him and why he hasn’t come back.

Step 3: Choose one of the dialogue options:

  • Tell Rosa that Romano is dead. She decides to retrieve his body, believing him to have died where you found him.
  • Tell Rosa that Romano is leaving her. She resolves to go find him anyway, determined to confront him or bring him back.

In both branches, Rosa leaves the Passage Entrance to search for Romano, and the mission ends. Your item rewards (1350 T-Creds, 25 Oroberyl, 6 Intermediate Combat Record, 6 Arms INSP Kit, 100 EXP) are granted regardless of which dialogue you pick.

Common navigation issues and how to avoid them

Reading elevation on the minimap. The quest marker often appears “inside” terrain while you are on the wrong vertical layer. If the marker feels impossible to reach on your current level, look for stairs, ropes, or platforms leading upward rather than pushing horizontally toward the icon.

Missing the first rope or staircase. The rope on the left side of the warehouse entrance and the stairways in the lower combat zone are easy to miss if you only follow the arrow. Scan the corners of each arena for climbable options before assuming the path is blocked.

Leaving enemies alive near triggers. Several interactive elements in this mission behave more reliably when the nearby area is clear. If a chest, rope, or zipline seems inactive or the quest appears stuck, clear every hostile enemy around the platform and try again.

Partial Relay Tower chains. The Electric Nexus only activates when the full chain from your Sub-AIC or Hub bridge reaches it. If the Nexus stays dark, open the power routing view and confirm that every intermediate tower has an active connection and is within range of the next node.

Once Rosa departs and the reward screen appears, Where Art Thou My Love is fully complete. From there, you can move on to other Exploration Missions in Valley IV, continue the main story, or expand your AIC network using the Relay Towers you placed for this mission.
