Gemini Spore is a Lahai-Roi resource used to ascend Mornye in Wuthering Waves version 3.0. It only appears in the new region and sits squarely on the critical path if you plan to raise her to max ascension as soon as she releases.

Gemini Spore is tagged as a Resource and functions as a Resonator Ascension material. At the moment it is tied to a single character:
- Mornye – 5-star Resonator arriving in version 3.0, second phase.
Mornye needs about 60 Gemini Spores to reach her maximum ascension level. That requirement is separate from her boss drop and enemy-drop materials.
Gemini Spore’s lore notes that it grows from meteorites in void-tainted areas, survives inside Voidmatter Zones, and is painted by “frequencies of the star clusters.” Mechanically, that translates to one thing: if there is a Void Storm in Lahai-Roi, there is a good chance spores are nearby.
Gemini Spore overworld locations in Lahai-Roi
Gemini Spore only appears in the Lahai-Roi region and is concentrated in two zones: Etching Plains and Stagnant Run. Nodes cluster around specific Void Storm arenas and sit on top of Mechanite deposits, which makes them easy to spot once you know where to look.
Across both areas, you can gather 50 Gemini Spores per day from the overworld.

Route 1: Farm Etching Plains (Void Storm Zones I and V)
Etching Plains offers the densest spore income and is where you’ll spend most of your daily loop.
Void Storm Zone V – 15 Gemini Spores
Step 1: Fast travel to a Resonance Beacon or Nexus near Startorch Academy, then head east into the southern section of Etching Plains toward Void Storm Zone V. The Expedition Motorbike dramatically cuts the approach time.
Step 2: Circle the outside of the Void Storm arena before engaging anything inside. Look for clumps of glowing fungi sitting on Mechanite deposits; there are around 15 spores in a loose ring around the zone.
Void Storm Zone I – 20 Gemini Spores
Step 1: From the Etching Plains Resonance Nexus, ride west to Void Storm Zone I. Stay on the upper terrain; the spores are outside the main arena space.
Step 2: Wrap around the Void Storm boundary and clear every group of spores you see on Mechanite rocks. This area holds roughly 20 spores, making it the single biggest cluster in Lahai-Roi.
Once both storm zones are cleared, Etching Plains alone has yielded about 35 Gemini Spores for the day.
Route 2: Farm Stagnant Run (Void Storm VI)
Stagnant Run is smaller but still mandatory if you want to hit the daily cap.
Void Storm VI – 15 Gemini Spores
Step 1: Fast travel into Stagnant Run and move toward Jetrified Ridge. Your objective is Void Storm VI, which sits northeast of the ridge.
Step 2: Circle the storm area, again staying just outside the combat ring. All 15 spores in Stagnant Run sit in a tight radius here on top of the same Mechanite-style deposits you saw in Etching Plains.
With this final sweep done, your overworld income reaches the full 50 Gemini Spores per reset.
How the Gemini Spore reset works
Overworld Gemini Spore nodes in Lahai-Roi follow the standard exploration cadence rather than weekly lockouts.
- Overworld nodes in Etching Plains and Stagnant Run reset daily.
- That daily cycle lets you collect 50 spores every server day if you clear all three storm-adjacent clusters.
At that rate, even without touching vendors or rewards, you can hit Mornye’s ~60-spore requirement in two short sessions.
Buying Gemini Spore from N.A.N.A. (Resonator Nursing Unit)
Startorch Academy, your first stop in Lahai-Roi, contains a vendor that quietly solves a lot of the material grind. Inside the academy, a bionic NPC named N.A.N.A. runs the Resonator Nursing Unit and sells character materials, including Gemini Spore.

The store listing is simple: each Gemini Spore costs 3,000 Shell Credits, and you can buy up to 15 per day. That is a direct Shell Credits sink, but it’s also a guaranteed way to top off a shortfall.
Step 1: Progress the version 3.0 main quest until Startorch Academy in Lahai-Roi is unlocked on your map.
Step 2: Enter the academy and locate N.A.N.A. at the Resonator Nursing Unit counter. Use the interaction prompt to open her shop interface.
Step 3: Scroll to the Gemini Spore listing and purchase as many as you need, up to the daily cap of 15, spending Shell Credits.
If you are low on Shell Credits, standard activities like quests, combat, and currency challenges remain your primary way to refill, and there is an in-game Shell Credits farming path if you want to lean hard on the vendor route.
Total obtainable Gemini Spore after unlocking Lahai-Roi
Once Lahai-Roi is open, you are no longer gated to a trickle of spores. Combining overworld runs and N.A.N.A.’s inventory yields a healthy total.

That daily combined total of 65 Gemini Spores is more than Mornye’s full ascension requirement of around 60. In practice, that means:
- One thorough farming day plus one lighter day fully covers her needs.
- If you start before her banner’s second phase, you can sit on a ready-made stack and focus on boss and enemy drops at launch.
Other ways Gemini Spore can appear
Beyond overworld harvesting and vendor purchases, Gemini Spore can surface in a few smaller channels tied directly to Mornye.
- Mornye’s Combat Training – Completing her Skill or Combat Training grants a small bundle of Gemini Spore, noted as 5 spores. This only unlocks after you convene her.
- Supply Packs – Some Supply Pack items can roll Gemini Spore as part of their material rewards. These are not farmable in the same predictable way as overworld nodes but can pad out your total.
These extra sources are helpful but not essential. The core of your planning still comes down to daily map sweeps and, if you want to shortcut, spending Shell Credits at N.A.N.A.’s counter.
If you clear the three Void Storm-adjacent clusters each day and pick up N.A.N.A.’s daily stock, Gemini Spore stops being a bottleneck entirely. By the time Mornye steps onto the stage in the second phase of version 3.0, you can have her ascension materials quietly sitting in your inventory, ready to go.
