The Bell of Demoncalm in Where Winds Meet is one of Qinghe’s most important region-wide buffs. Once restored and rung, it permanently weakens every World Boss in Qinghe, lowering their damage and defenses so you can tackle them earlier and with less punishment for mistakes.
The catch: the bell is shattered, the missing piece is nowhere nearby, and getting that fragment means working through a whole other progression system first.
Bell of Demoncalm location on Moonveil Mountain
The Bell of Demoncalm sits inside the Peace Bell Tower at the summit of Moonveil Mountain in lower Qinghe. The tower dominates the skyline in the midwestern part of the region, south of Moonveil Stream and near Blissful Retreat.

Reaching the tower is a small journey by itself:
- Travel south from Blissful Retreat and follow the slope upward.
- Clear the Aureate Brigand camp blocking the path.
- Keep climbing the road until you reach a Waystone/teleport point at the tower entrance.
- Speak to the bellwright at the base to learn what happened to the tower.
From here, you can technically start climbing, but without the Bronze Bell Fragment, there is nothing meaningful you can do with the Bell yet, beyond some light exploration and looting.
How to climb Peace Bell Tower to the Bell of Demoncalm
When you return with the fragment, you need to navigate the tower’s broken interior. The climb is mostly platforming using scaffolds, windows, ledges, and a few grapples.

Where the missing Demoncalm Bell fragment actually comes from
The Bell is missing a large section of its bronze shell. That lost piece is the Bronze Bell Fragment, and it does not drop from enemies or chests, nor is it hidden anywhere near Moonveil Mountain.
Instead, the fragment sits at the far end of a separate character growth system called Melodies of Peace, run by an NPC named Qi Sheng.
How to find Qi Sheng and unlock Melodies of Peace
Qi Sheng appears early in the game near the first Wayfarer of the Verdant Wilds in Qinghe. He is a short distance beyond that point on the path toward General’s Shrine, running a stall tied to Melodies of Peace.
Melodies of Peace is a web of interconnected “Harmony” nodes that grant a mix of:
- Basic stat bonuses such as Vitality and Endurance
- Utility skills like the Wallstride Lightness techniques
- Special items and quest‑relevant rewards, including the Bronze Bell Fragment
The Bronze Bell Fragment sits at the very end of this web as part of the final unlock called The Music of Yongping.
How Melodies of Peace uses Oddities
Progress through Melodies of Peace is paid for with Oddities — small world collectibles scattered through Qinghe and other regions.

Movement skills can speed that process up dramatically. Grand Lightness abilities, such as Meteor Flight, let you skim over terrain at high speed, dropping down whenever an Oddity icon appears at the edge of your minimap.
How to obtain the Bronze Bell Fragment from Qi Sheng
Once The Music of Yongping and all its Harmony nodes are unlocked, the Bronze Bell Fragment becomes available at Qi Sheng’s stall.

With the Bronze Bell Fragment in your inventory, the final phase happens back on Moonveil Mountain.
- Use the teleport/Waystone near the Peace Bell Tower’s entrance to return quickly.
- Speak to the bellwright again at the base of the tower.
- Repeat the climb through the scaffolding, windows, stairs, and grapples to the top interior level where the Bell is.
Interaction at the bell works a little differently from normal quest turn‑ins. Instead of handing over the item via a dialogue box, the game switches into Construction Mode so you can personally place the fragment.
