With Apple's annual Worldwide Developer Conference officially underway, we've entered the era of iOS 18 even if the public release of the software is still months away. iOS 18 comes with a lot of new updates with a customizable Home Screen and Control Center, new intelligence features, and a redesigned Photos app, among others.
As is the case with new iOS updates every time, it's making users wonder if their iPhone has made it to the list of supported devices as every year, a few devices don't make the cut. However, that has not been the case this year. Every iPhone that supports iOS 17 can be upgraded to iOS 18. Here's the full list:
- iPhone 15
- iPhone 15 Plus
- iPhone 15 Pro
- iPhone 15 Pro Max
- iPhone 14
- iPhone 14 Plus
- iPhone 14 Pro
- iPhone 14 Pro Max
- iPhone 13
- iPhone 13 mini
- iPhone 13 Pro
- iPhone 13 Pro Max
- iPhone 12
- iPhone 12 mini
- iPhone 12 Pro
- iPhone 12 Pro Max
- iPhone 11

However, if you're excited about the Apple Intelligence features that the tech giant announced at the event, it's time to rein in the excitement. Given the computational power required for on-device processing for Apple Intelligence, only these current iPhones will support it:
- iPhone 15 Pro
- iPhone 15 Pro Max
Along with that, Macs and iPads with M1 and later will get the Apple Intelligence update. It is expected that all the new devices that Apple will release later this fall should support Apple Intelligence, but only time will tell if the non-Pro devices will make the cut.
iOS 18 Developer Beta is available to try out right now with the Public Beta set to arrive next month. Apple Intelligence will not be a part of the iOS 18 beta at this time, though, and it will come to compatible devices in beta later this year in the fall.
