Summon Core is a rare material in Lineage Piece that lets you spawn special bosses at the Legend’s Arena. You feed it into the Boss Summoner NPC alongside other required materials, pick a difficulty, and fight the boss for drops you cannot get anywhere else.

Quick answer: Travel to the Legend’s Arena, talk to the Boss Summoner, select a boss and difficulty, make sure you hold the required Summon Cores plus that boss’s other materials and coins, then press Summon to start the fight.

How to get Summon Core in Lineage Piece

Any NPC or boss you defeat has a 4% chance to drop a Summon Core. There is no special enemy or region tied to it, so you build a stockpile by clearing mobs during normal play. Low-level enemies like the Bandits on the starting island work fine for farming, since the drop rate is the same across all kills.

When one drops, you will see an “Obtained x1 Summon Core!” message on screen. The cores stack in your inventory under the Material tab inside Storage, so you can carry a large reserve before heading to the arena.

What Summon Core does

Summon Core is a consumable summoning material. Each time you spawn a boss at the Legend’s Arena, the core is spent along with that boss’s specific ingredients and a coin cost. In return you get access to bosses that drop unique titles, accessories, and artifacts.

Gilgamesh is one of the bosses tied to this system. Summoning him requires 1x Holy Grail, 1x Summon Core, and 100,000 Coins. His drop table shows the kind of rewards these fights hand out.

How to use Summon Core at the Legend’s Arena

Open the Teleport menu and select Legend’s Arena. This is where every core-based boss summon takes place, so you cannot spawn these fights from other islands.
Walk up to the Boss Summoner NPC and interact with it. The summon interface opens with a list of bosses you can call in, such as Verdant Hero, Saber, Gilgamesh, and Kokushibo.

Pick a boss and choose a difficulty. The available settings are Easy, Medium, Hard, and Extreme, and the boss health scales with the level you select.
Confirm you have the required materials for that boss. Each summon consumes at least one Summon Core plus the boss’s unique ingredients and coins, so check your Material tab before committing.
Press Summon to spawn the boss and start the fight. Defeat it to roll on its drop table for the rewards listed above.

Why the summon might not start

If the Summon button does nothing, the most common cause is missing materials. Every boss needs its Summon Cores plus separate items, and the fight will not begin until you meet the full requirement. Gilgamesh, for example, will not spawn without a Holy Grail, a Summon Core, and 100,000 Coins in hand.

You also need to be at the Legend’s Arena and speaking to the Boss Summoner. The summon menu is tied to that NPC, so there is no way to trigger it remotely or from another teleport point.

Keep a buffer of cores rather than spending your last one, since the higher difficulties and rarer drops often mean repeated attempts. With a steady 4% drop rate from general farming, a short mob-clearing session is usually enough to restock before your next run.
