Fortnite Events Schedule: New Holofoil Sprites and What’s Coming Up

Updated July 6, 2026 By AllThingsHow Staff Fortnite servers: running normally

Fortnite’s Mastery Mondays window is live right now, running from 9 AM ET Monday, July 6 through 9 AM ET Tuesday, July 7 — a recurring boost to Sprite hunting and leveling that has already drawn interest from more than 16,000 players this week. The bigger draw on the calendar is still ahead: a new Holofoil Sprite variant arrives July 9, and it remains the more anticipated of the two, with interest approaching 40,000.

Both fall within Chapter 7: Season 3, the Sprite Collection-themed season built around the Zero Point and a cast of mercenaries, running from June 6 through August 19, 2026. Below is the full schedule of live and upcoming events, along with Epic’s current server status — we update it as things change.

What’s worth your time

Mastery Mondays, live through July 7

Mastery Mondays is live from 9 AM ET Monday, July 6 through 9 AM ET Tuesday, July 7, 2026. During the window, Legendary and Mythic sprites turn up more often, leveling them goes twice as fast, and extractions pay out double Sprite Dust. Daily Quests also hand out extra Portable Extractors, letting you pull your equipped sprite from anywhere on the island instead of tracking one down first. It’s a recurring fixture that comes back every Monday for the rest of the season, so if this run doesn’t fit your schedule, another is only a week out.

Holofoil Sprite variant, arriving July 9

Starting July 9 at 9 AM ET, a Holofoil variant joins Fortnite’s Sprite collection. Carrying one raises your odds of finding other rare variants — Gold, Gummy, and Galaxy sprites included — and Epic says Holofoil sprites are easier to find than Gold ones, making this the variant worth prioritizing if you’re filling out a collection. Unlike a lot of Fortnite content drops, this one isn’t going anywhere: new sprites and their variants stick around for the rest of the season, so there’s no rush to grab it the day it lands. It remains the most anticipated addition on the current schedule, with interest approaching 40,000.

Current season

Chapter 7: Season 3 launched June 6, 2026, and runs through August 19 — a 76-day season centered on Sprite Collection, the Zero Point, and a mercenary cast, according to Fortnite Wiki. It added a wave of new named locations across the map, including Shattered Coast, Calamari Canyon, Chopped Shop, Golden Grove, and Wonkeeland, among others. Update v41.10, “Gone Wild,” landed June 25 as the season’s most recent major patch.

This week’s Mastery Mondays run and the incoming Holofoil Sprite are incremental additions to that season rather than season-ending moments — we’ll add to the schedule above as Epic announces what comes next before the season closes in August.
