Fighting moves are the core of BitLife’s Ultimate Fighter Mode, the $10 marketplace pack that turns your character into a professional MMA competitor. Every move has its own power rating, stamina cost, and unlock method, and building a strong inventory is what separates a one-round knockout from a long, losing brawl.
Quick answer: Unlock moves two ways. Buy them from the Skill Shop inside the Fighting menu using Street Creds, or earn task-based moves by completing specific actions like joining a martial arts class under the Mind & Body tab. All unlocked moves appear in the Moves column and can be equipped from there.
How move unlocking works in BitLife
Every move belongs to one of three core categories: Striking, Wrestling, or Submission. You want at least one move from each category equipped, because high-level opponents can counter you if your set is too narrow. The two stats that matter on every move are power damage and stamina usage. The best picks deal high power for a low stamina cost.
Street Creds are the currency you spend in the Skill Shop. You earn them by fighting in sanctioned league matches and in street fights during the offseason. Street fights carry no ranking or money penalty if you lose, so they are the safest place to grind Creds and test new moves.

Task-based moves and how to unlock them
These moves cannot be bought. You earn each one by completing a specific real action in your character’s life, most often by joining a martial arts class in the Martial Arts section under the Mind & Body tab. The table lists every task move with its exact requirement.
| Move | Power / Stamina | How to unlock |
|---|---|---|
| Axe Kick | 20 / 8 | Join Krav Maga classes (Martial Arts) |
| Cross Body Punch | 14 / 7 | Join Krav Maga classes (Martial Arts) |
| Butterfly Kick | 10 / 6 | Join Kung Fu classes (Martial Arts) |
| Tiger Claw Strike | 20 / 5 | Join Kung Fu classes (Martial Arts) |
| Double Roundhouse Kick | 28 / 10 | Join Taekwondo classes (Martial Arts) |
| Eagle Strike | 20 / 9 | Join Taekwondo classes (Martial Arts) |
| Fist Strike | 20 / 8 | Join Judo classes (Martial Arts) |

| Spinning Back Kick | 27 / 10 | Join Jiu-Jitsu classes (Martial Arts) |
| Karate Chop | 19 / 8 | Join Karate classes (Martial Arts) |
| Karate Kick | 15 / 7 | Join Karate classes (Martial Arts) |
| Drift Flip | 18 / 7 | Buy a car from Shopping after getting a Driver’s License |
| Leash Lock | 24 / 5 | Adopt a dog from the Animal Shelter |

| Low Blow | 17 / 5 | Mess with a college friend from the Class tab in College |
| Mind-Scramble Trap | 26 / 7 | Take a Memory Test under Mind & Body |
| Poison Spray | 30 / 5 | Visit a Witch Doctor under Main Activities |
| Rocket Punch | 14 / 9 | Attend Space Camp under Mind & Body ($2,000) |
Note: Poison Spray hits 30 power for only 5 stamina, the strongest efficiency of any task move, but it requires a Witch Doctor visit. Plan a few of these unlocks early since some, like the martial arts classes, depend on starting them at the right age.
How to equip and confirm a move worked
You know an unlock worked when the move appears as equippable in the Moves column. For task moves, the move is granted right after you complete the linked action, such as finishing a class session or adopting the pet.
Upgrading fighting moves
Unlocking a move is only the first step. Almost every base move can be upgraded once for free into a stronger version with lower stamina cost and higher power. Tap the move name in the equippable section to see how many times you need to use it before it self-upgrades.

Because the upgrade is tied to repeated use, the moves you rely on most in street fights will naturally improve over a fighter’s career. Keep recovering stamina with paid Recovery options that cost 10 or more Street Creds between fights, since the free methods restore very little, and your upgraded high-power, low-stamina moves will carry you to the number one league spot.
