The Tracker Set is a Rare leather armor set in Windrose built around survivability through healing and mitigation. It covers all five armor slots, crafts at the Armor and Clothing Workshop, and stacks bonuses based on how many pieces you wear at once.

Tracker Set bonuses
The set has two stacking effects tied to how many Tracker pieces you have equipped at the same time. The 2-piece bonus boosts the potency of healing you receive, and the 4-piece bonus layers on flat damage resistance, making it one of the few sets that pulls double duty for survival builds.
The exact percentages vary slightly between in-game tooltips and community testing. The healing boost is commonly listed at 15%, with some reports placing it as high as 35–45%, and the 4-piece damage resistance lands at 15%.
| Pieces equipped | Effect |
|---|---|
| 2 pieces | Healing item effectiveness increased |
| 4 pieces | +15% Damage Resistance |

The Tracker Set has five pieces, one for each armor slot. All of them are Rare quality and craft at a Level 1 Armor and Clothing Workshop using the same two base materials in different quantities.
| Piece | Slot | Materials |
|---|---|---|
| Tracker’s Hat | Head | 3 Rough Hide, 2 Coarse Fabric |
| Tracker’s Jacket | Chest | 4 Rough Hide, 2 Coarse Fabric |
| Tracker’s Gloves | Hands | 2 Rough Hide, 2 Coarse Fabric |
| Tracker’s Pants | Legs | 3 Rough Hide, 2 Coarse Fabric |
| Tracker’s Boots | Feet | 2 Rough Hide, 2 Coarse Fabric |
A full five-piece craft costs 14 Rough Hide and 10 Coarse Fabric, both of which come from early-game gathering. Rough Hide drops from animals like boars and similar wildlife, and Coarse Fabric is made from plant fibers harvested across starter regions.

How to unlock the recipes
Crafting any Tracker piece requires you to first find that exact item in the world. Looting a Tracker’s Hat from a chest or enemy unlocks the recipe for that helmet at your workbench, but it does not unlock the rest of the set. Each slot must be discovered separately before it can be crafted.
Tracker pieces tend to surface during exploration-heavy and nature-themed content. Common sources include herbalist and supernatural quest rewards, looted jungle ruins, and blueprints purchased from vendors who deal in survival gear.
When the Tracker Set is worth using
The set is built for attrition. The healing buff makes potions, food, and regeneration tick harder, and the 4-piece damage resistance gives a flat cushion against incoming hits. That combination suits solo players grinding through long encounters, support roles in co-op, and prolonged boss fights where you cannot disengage easily.
It is less impressive as a pure damage-taking set compared to the Conquistador Set, since Conquistador’s 2-piece bonus already grants 15% damage resistance on its own and its 4-piece adds Bulwark, which prevents stagger on incoming hits. If raw mitigation is your goal, Conquistador wins. The Tracker Set’s strength is the healing multiplier, which Conquistador does not offer.

Hybrid pairings
Because the 2-piece Tracker bonus is purely defensive and healing-focused, it slots cleanly into mixed loadouts. Two Tracker pieces alongside two pieces from an offensive set keep you alive longer without giving up your damage profile.
| Pairing | Effect | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 2 Tracker + 2 Flibustier | Stronger healing + 20% less stamina on attacks | One-handed builds that need extra survival |
| 2 Tracker + 2 Privateer | Stronger healing + 10% crit chance | Crit builds in fragile armor |
| 2 Tracker + 2 Pikeman | Stronger healing + 160 max HP | Two-handed melee with sustain |
If you go the full four-piece route, the remaining slot can be filled with any Rare piece for stat padding without breaking the set bonus. Jewellery slots stay independent of the armor set system, so they always remain available.

Materials at a glance
Both Rough Hide and Coarse Fabric are early-tier resources, which makes the Tracker Set accessible long before you can reliably farm Copper Ingots for Conquistador or Pikeman gear. That low entry cost is part of why it works as a transitional set while you hunt down heavier armor blueprints.
Keep a stockpile of both materials if you plan to recraft pieces at higher workbench levels later, since upgraded versions of armor in Windrose tend to add Linen Fabric and refined ingots to the recipe.
