Anime Astral Simulator’s Update 7.5 went live Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 4:15 PM ET, taking over as the biggest draw in the current lineup. Update 7.0, which opened July 25, is still running alongside it through July 31. Update 6.2, the mini update that had been live since July 21, closed that same Tuesday afternoon, handing off directly to Update 7.5’s launch.

It’s still drawing solid interest, with about 19,000 players signed on, though Update 7.5’s launch has since pulled ahead of it as the bigger draw this week.

Update 8: the next confirmed release, opens August 1

Update 8 is now on the calendar, set to open Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 4:15 PM ET (1:15 PM PT / 8:15 PM UTC, 9:15 PM BST) and run through Friday, August 7, 2026 at the same hour. The developer is using the same systems-new-map-and-QOL framing again.

Interest is about 13,000 this early, ahead of its August 1 opening, which is in line with how the last few updates looked at the same point before launch.
