Anime Astral Simulator has a fresh new-map update live and its bug-fix companion landing the same week. Update 11, the latest full new-map release, opened Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 4:15 PM ET and runs through Friday, August 28. Update 11.5 opened Tuesday, August 25 at the same hour and is now live alongside it — the most-anticipated item on the board. The previous headliner, Update 10.5, closed Monday, August 24.
The developer’s release pace has held steady all month: a full new-map update every Saturday and a lighter bug-fix follow-up every Tuesday. Beyond Update 11.5, the calendar already stretches to Update 12 and 12.5 at the turn of the month and on to Update 13.5 in mid-September.

Update 11.5: live now, the biggest draw
Update 11.5 went live Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 4:15 PM ET (1:15 PM PT / 8:15 PM UTC, 9:15 PM BST) and runs through Monday, August 31 at the same hour, with about several days left. It is a systems, bug-fix and quality-of-life drop — the lighter half of the game’s weekly one-two — yet it has drawn more interest than anything else on the schedule, with about 60,000 players signed up to join.
Update 11: live now, the newest map
Update 11 went live Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 4:15 PM ET (1:15 PM PT / 8:15 PM UTC, 9:15 PM BST) and runs through Friday, August 28, 2026 at the same hour, with about several days left. This is the new-map entry of the current cycle, carrying the developer’s usual systems-plus-new-map-and-quality-of-life billing, and it opened to a strong crowd of about 49,000 interested players.
Update 12 and beyond
The board runs further out than that. Update 12, a new-map release, is set for Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 4:15 PM ET through September 4, with the bug-fix follow-up Update 12.5 landing Tuesday, September 1 through September 7. Both are already gathering steam this far ahead — Update 12 has about 52,000 interested players and Update 12.5 about 62,000 — in line with how earlier drops looked before their own launches came into view. Further out, Update 13 is penciled in for Saturday, September 5 through September 11 and Update 13.5 for Tuesday, September 8 through September 14, each drawing a more modest early crowd of around about 58,000 so far.
