Instagram’s new video sharing platform is receiving a great response from users all around the world. If you’re a creator and looking forward to creating an IGTV channel of yourself, below is a quick guide on how to do that.
Creating an IGTV channel is easier from the IGTV app. If you haven’t installed it yet, get IGTV app for your iPhone and Android devices from their respective app stores now.
How to create IGTV channel from the app
- Open IGTV app on your device and sign-in with your Instagram account.
- Tap on the
Settings gear icon.
- Select Create Channel.
- You’ll be greeted with a set of screens to summarize the basics of an IGTV channel, continue by tapping Next, followed by Create Channel button at the last screen.

That’s it. Your IGTV channel has been created. To access it, tap on your profile pic on the IGTV app.
