The Spire of Insight is one of three optional Spires scattered across the Demeniss region in Crimson Desert. Climbing it requires you to solve a riddle on each floor by finding specific objects and placing them in a golden bowl. Completing the tower advances your Abyss Islands progression and leads directly into the Chaos Forest Abyss puzzle. The riddles themselves are not especially difficult, but several of the items you need are tiny and easy to overlook.
Quick answer: Burn the vines at the entrance, place a pebble in the basin to open the door, then solve each floor by finding the correct objects — Gravestone (Floor 1), Telescope and Pen Tip (Floor 2), Celestial, Sundial, and Small Map Rotator (Floor 3) — and depositing them in the golden bowl before pressing the lift switch.
Spire of Insight location in Demeniss
The tower sits in the Steel Mountains subregion of Demeniss, a short distance east of Eastern Goblin Camp and Ruined Chapel and southwest of Willow River. If you're coming from the north, head south past Hernand and Pororin Village until the tall structure becomes visible on the horizon. It is entirely optional — no main quest sends you here — but the rewards and Abyss progression make the detour worthwhile.
Opening the entrance — the pebble riddle
Thorny vines block the front of the Spire when you first arrive. Use Blinding Light (or light an arrow from a nearby brazier and shoot the vines) to burn them away. A small group of Fundamentalist Goblins guards the area; they are weak enough to be dispatched quickly, or you can crouch and stealth past them.
Step 1: After clearing the vines, approach the entrance plaque. It reads: "When the bones of the earth awaken from their long silence and find their place, time begins to flow once more." The "bones of the earth" are the small pebbles lying on the ground directly in front of the door.
Step 2: Pick up any one of the pebbles and place it in the stone basin beside the entrance. The basin lights up, and the door unlocks, letting you step inside.
Floor 1 — Gravestone
The first floor centers on a raised platform holding a giant book. Read it: "Even after many years have passed, the traces left behind revive forgotten tales."
Step 1: Face the giant book and look at the right wall. On a desk along that wall, you will find a Gravestone — the "traces left behind" from the riddle.
Step 2: Carry the Gravestone back to the platform and place it in the golden bowl just in front of the book. Press the switch to ride the lift up to Floor 2.
Floor 2 — Telescope and Pen Tip
The second-floor book reads: "Records filled with wisdom guide us to the past, while tools that look to distant places illuminate the future." Two items are needed here.

Step 1: Grab the Telescope from the southwest desk first — it is the easier of the two to spot.
Step 2: From the golden bowl, face south and walk toward the southeast corner window where a desk covered in scrolls sits. Turn right into the adjacent back room. The Pen Tip is on the desk there, tucked into the back-right corner. You may need to move the camera around carefully because it is very small.
Step 3: Place both objects in the golden bowl and press the switch to ascend.
Floor 3 — Celestial, Sundial, and Small Map Rotator
The giant book on the third floor states: "The dance of the heavens, the turning of the earth, and the march of time all point to a single truth." Three objects correspond to these three phrases.

Step 1: Locate and pick up the Sundial from the bookshelf behind the book.
Step 2: Move to the right side of the room and grab the Celestial from the floor between the two bookshelves.
Step 3: Continue right along the head-level shelves to find the Small Map Rotator.
Step 4: Drop all three items into the golden bowl and activate the lift one final time to reach the top floor.
Reaching the Chaos Forest Abyss
At the top of the Spire of Insight you will find an Abyss Gate. Walk through it to begin the Chaos Forest Abyss puzzle, which is the next step in the Abyss Islands chain for this part of Demeniss. If you have already completed the other two Spires in the region — including the Spire of Frost — finishing this tower brings you closer to fully clearing the Demeniss Abyss content.
The Spire of Insight is easy to rush through once you know where every item sits, but the real value is in the collectibles along the way. The Alchemy Formula for Gold Bars in particular is a highly useful recipe, so make sure you do not leave Floor 3 without it.
