Genshin Impact's Version Luna VI (6.5) brings four limited-time events when it launches on April 8, 2026. Three of them hand out Primogems, while the fourth — a returning Ley Line Overflow — lets you double-dip on Mora and Hero's Wit. The flagship event also gives every player a free copy of Jahoda, making it the headline freebie of the patch.
Quick answer: Complete the "Where Waves Meet the Reef" flagship event for Primogems, a free Jahoda, a Crown of Insight, and stacks of upgrade materials. Two smaller events (Rapid Capture and Surveying & Mapping Studies) add more Primogems, and Ley Line Overflow doubles your Mora or Hero's Wit for up to three Original Resin claims per day.

Where Waves Meet the Reef — Flagship Event
The centerpiece of Luna VI revolves around a commission from Nefer and the Curatorium of Secrets. A Trade Expo is underway in Nod Krai, and you'll need to keep things running smoothly while rubbing shoulders with familiar faces — Navia, Beidou, Chevreuse, Chlorinde, and Aino all make appearances. The event features three gameplay modes, including a battle simulation and a timed combat challenge.

Rapid Capture — Video Filming Event
Rapid Capture sends you back to Fontaine to work with Petit Lumière and director Méliès on a new filming process. You'll invite different characters into scenes and complete challenge objectives by performing specific in-game actions on camera. It's a lighter, creativity-focused event with a straightforward reward track.

Surveying & Mapping Studies — Location-Marking Challenge
This Mondstadt-based event tasks you with pinpointing target objects on the map as precisely as possible. You can lean on nearby landmarks, a compass provided by the Knights of Favonius, and environmental hints to narrow down each location. Think of it as a geography quiz layered on top of the open world — the closer your mark, the better your score.

Ley Line Overflow — Double Drops for Mora and EXP
The recurring Ley Line Overflow returns once more during Luna VI. While the event is active, spending Original Resin on Ley Line Blossoms of Wealth or Revelation yields double the normal Mora or Hero's Wit. The bonus applies up to three times per day, so plan your resin spending accordingly.
Livestream Redemption Codes
Three redemption codes were distributed during the Luna VI Special Program. Each one grants 100 Primogems plus a small bundle of materials, for a total of 300 free Primogems. These codes expire on March 30, 2026, at 12:00 UTC+8, so redeem them quickly if you haven't already.
| Code | Bonus materials |
|---|---|
| LinneaClassTime | Mystic Enhancement Ore ×10 |
| TempleofSpace | Hero's Wit ×5 |

Other Luna VI Content Worth Noting
Events aren't the only source of rewards in Version 6.5. The patch also opens up Dornman Port — a new Mondstadt map extension — along with the Temple of Space, a Celestia-adjacent zone tied to Asmoday. Exploring these areas during the limited-time "A Stilled Interstice of a Thousand Winds" window will net additional rewards. Linnea's Story Quest ("Alcyon Chapter: Act I") offers Primogems and leveling materials as well.
On the banner side, Phase 1 runs Linnea and Chasca from April 8 through April 28, while Phase 2 features Lauma and Nefer from April 28 through May 19. A Fontaine-themed Chronicled Wish also arrives, featuring Clorinde, Navia, Emilie, Sigewinne, and Lyney — though notably without Wriothesley, Neuvillette, Arlecchino, or Furina.
Between the four events, the new map exploration bonuses, story quest rewards, and the 300 Primogems from redemption codes, Luna VI offers a solid haul for free-to-play and spending players alike. Just keep an eye on event start dates so you don't miss any limited windows.
