Every Golden Greed Plate Armor Piece in Crimson Desert and Where to Find It

Every Golden Greed Plate Armor Piece in Crimson Desert and Where to Find It

The Golden Greed Plate Armor set is one of the flashiest gear collections you can wear in Crimson Desert, draping Kliff in gold-adorned plate from head to toe. Beyond the look, the set delivers strong physical defense, solid attack bonuses on two pieces, and useful Abyss Gears across the board. Every piece is stashed behind a hidden puzzle or environmental obstacle in the southeastern and southern regions of the map, and most require a specific combat ability to access.

Quick answer: The five pieces are found at the Sanctum of Renunciation (Helm), Bursada Castle Ruins (Armor), Venomblade Grotto (Cloak), Gale of Judgement Cave (Gloves), and Arehaza Cave (Boots). You will need the Force Palm, Focused Force Palm, and Stab abilities unlocked before you can collect them all.

The Gloves and Boots are the only pieces that carry Attack values, making them particularly valuable for melee builds. The set also complements the Golden GreatHammer and Golden Shield if you want a full gold-themed loadout.

Step 2: Face the waterfall and use Stab (R1 + Triangle) to dash through the falling water. Kliff will pass through and land in a hidden alcove behind it.

The Cloak has the lowest raw Defense of the set at 4, but Fire Resistance Lv 3 can be extremely useful in specific encounters and environmental hazards.

Golden Greed Plate Gloves — Gale of Judgement Cave

Region: Denn River, south of the Crimson Desert, east of Drywind Valley.

Step 1: Locate the waterfall near the wooden bridge east of Drywind Valley. You need to reach the midway point along the waterfall's edge — look for a narrow platform partway down.

Step 2: Drop down to the midway platform. From there, face the waterfall and use Stab (R1 + Triangle) to pass through the water into a hidden cave entrance.

Step 3: Inside the cave, open the Treasure Chest to claim the Golden Greed Plate Gloves. These carry 20 Attack and two Abyss Gear slots, both providing Defense 3.

⚠️
The drop to the midway platform can be tricky. If you fall past it, you will need to climb back up and try again. Position yourself carefully at the edge before dropping.

Abilities You Need Before Collecting the Full Set

AbilityInputUsed For
Force PalmR3Armor (Bursada Castle Ruins)
Focus: Force PalmL3 + R3, then hold R3Boots (Arehaza Cave)
StabR1 + TriangleCloak (Venomblade Grotto), Gloves (Gale of Judgement Cave)

Make sure you have all three abilities unlocked before attempting a full collection run. The Helm at the Sanctum of Renunciation requires no special ability, so it makes a good starting point. From there, the most efficient route moves southeast to Bursada Castle Ruins for the Armor, then south along the Red River to grab the Cloak and Boots, finishing at Gale of Judgement Cave for the Gloves.

Once all five pieces are equipped, you will notice the full gold aesthetic immediately on Kliff's character model. The combined stat spread leans heavily into physical defense while the Gloves and Boots add meaningful Attack power, making the Golden Greed set a practical choice for players who want durability without sacrificing offensive output.
