Every way to get Gingerbread Bears in Bee Swarm Simulator

Gingerbread Bears sit at the center of Beesmas in Bee Swarm Simulator. They act both as a high-value treat and as a limited currency for Bee Bear’s Catalog, and they are one of the very few items that can turn event bees gifted.

That mix makes them heavily contested, especially if you are eyeing the expensive catalog bundles. Here is how Gingerbread Bears work and every reliable way to get them.

What Gingerbread Bears do

Gingerbread Bears are a special treat item. Feeding one to a bee gives 250 bond and rolls a 1 percent chance to turn that bee into a Gifted Bee. That chance stacks across all Gingerbread Bears you feed to the same bee.

The actual gifted chance after feeding x Gingerbread Bears to a single bee follows this formula:

Chance to become Gifted = (1 − 0.99^x) × 100%

That means:

  • Feeding 1 Gingerbread Bear gives a 1% chance.
  • Feeding 50 gives roughly a 39.5% chance.
  • Feeding 100 gives around a 63% chance.

Even after 100, there is no guarantee. The probability improves, but the outcome is still random.

Gingerbread Bears also double as a currency in Bee Bear’s Catalog during Beesmas (2020, 2021, 2022, 2024, and 2025 events). Unlike Snowflakes, they are not removed when Beesmas ends. Any unused Gingerbread Bears automatically convert into Aged Gingerbread Bears at the next Beesmas, which can still be used to make bees gifted.

Permanent pickup locations and one-time sources

Several Beesmas objects and challenge areas hide Gingerbread Bear tokens you can collect once per event cycle or once overall, depending on the content.

Retro Swarm Challenge

Inside the Retro Swarm Challenge, Gingerbread Bears can be found next to the hives. Playing the challenge and moving over to the hive area reveals these tokens.

Mother Bear’s Gingerbread House

Mother Bear’s Gingerbread House is one of the most important long-term sources. Once unlocked through her Beesmas quest, it generates one Gingerbread Bear for every two hours of playtime. With the Offline Voucher, that house can count some time while you are not actively in-game, but it caps out within a day, so claiming regularly is still important.

Winter Memory Match

Winter Memory Match boards can award Gingerbread Bears as one of the possible prizes when you flip matching pairs. They are not guaranteed, but they are in the reward pool.

Hidden tokens around the map

  • Beesmas Tree near the 20 bee zone — A Gingerbread Bear token is hidden in the tree. Reaching it usually requires some parkour up the tree structure.
  • Behind the Sticker Stack machine — There is a Gingerbread Bear token tucked behind the Sticker Stack machine.
  • Hive Hub obby — Completing the small obby (obstacle course) in the Hive Hub leads to a Gingerbread Bear token.
  • Summer 2024 Beesmas — A Gingerbread Bear token appears inside the 2024 Beesmas Tree, another on the top platform of the Trading Hub, and another next to the spawn of Zombies and Slimes in the Retro Swarm Challenge.

Bee Bear’s questline

Bee Bear’s Beesmas quests grant Gingerbread Bears as part of their rewards each year. During Summer 2024 Beesmas, all of Bee Bear’s 20 quests pay Gingerbread Bears on a tiered scale:

Bee Bear quest range Gingerbread Bears per quest
Quests 1–5 1 each
Quests 6–9 2 each
Quests 10–14 3 each
Quests 15–19 5 each
Quest 20 10

Earlier Beesmas events used similar structures, where Bee Bear’s quests consistently rewarded small bundles of Gingerbread Bears.

Presents to NPCs

Giving a Present to specific NPCs during Beesmas can return Gingerbread Bears along with other items. Historically, Mother Bear, Polar Bear, Gifted Riley Bee, Stick Bug, Honey Bee (NPC), Onett, and others have all granted small stacks of Gingerbread Bears when receiving a Present during Beesmas.

Bosses and mobs that drop Gingerbread Bears

A long list of mobs and bosses can drop Gingerbread Bears during Beesmas. This is where most repeatable Gingerbread farming happens once you have collected the one-time tokens.

Common boss and mob drops

  • Aphid (except Diamond Aphid)
  • Stump Snail
  • Coconut Crab
  • King Beetle
  • Tunnel Bear

These enemies have Gingerbread Bears in their loot tables as common drops during Beesmas. Long-respawn bosses such as Stump Snail can drop large chunks at once, which is why AFK-killing Stump Snail is a popular strategy for stockpiling Gingerbread Bears and simultaneously extending your playtime for Mother Bear’s Gingerbread House generation.

Rare mob drops

  • Scorpions
  • Ladybugs
  • Werewolves
  • Festive Nymphs

For these mobs, Gingerbread Bears are rare drops. Regular “bug runs” that loop through Ladybug, Scorpion, and Werewolf spawns keep rolling for these rare drops in the background while you farm pollen or complete quests. Festive Nymphs, which appear in Stick Bug’s Beesmas variant, can also drop Gingerbread Bears while their event is active.

Festive Sprout

Breaking a Festive Sprout showers the field with loot tokens, and Gingerbread Bears are part of that loot pool. Because Festive Sprouts tend to spawn in groups and are often used for cooperative farming, they can add up to a meaningful number of Gingerbread Bears if you participate in them consistently.

Festive Planter

Harvesting a Festive Planter after it fully matures has a chance to drop Gingerbread Bears along with nectar and other rewards. Since Festive Planters grow over a defined time window, they make sense as periodic, high-value pulls rather than a primary daily source.

Ability-based Gingerbread Bear drops

Some bee abilities and Beesmas mechanics can create Gingerbread Bears directly on the field.

Puppy Bee’s Reindeer Fetch (Beequip ability)

Puppy Bee’s Beesmas Beequip grants the Reindeer Fetch ability. Successfully completing combos with this ability has a chance to spawn a Gingerbread Bear token, but there is a limit of one Gingerbread Bear per day from this method. It is a low-volume but very consistent daily check if you are running Puppy Bee.

Festive Mark

Festive Mark, another Beesmas ability token, can rarely drop a Gingerbread Bear when activated.

Festive Bee gifts

Festive Bee’s gift ability can roll Gingerbread Bears as part of its improved loot, especially at higher bee levels and when Festive Bee is gifted. It remains random, but enabling and collecting Festive Bee’s ability tokens during Beesmas incidentally contributes to your Gingerbread Bear income.

Onett’s Lid Art and other Beesmas interactables

Several Beesmas interactable objects can be used periodically to generate Gingerbread Bears.

Onett’s Lid Art

Onett’s Lid Art is a recurring Beesmas object on the hive lid. Once you unlock it by completing Onett’s Beesmas quest, interacting with the art grants rewards that include Gingerbread Bears. It can be used every eight hours, and each activation has at least one Gingerbread Bear in the drop table.

Other Beesmas objects from past years

  • Mother Bear’s Gingerbread House — described earlier, but during earlier Beesmas runs it also gave one-time Gingerbread Bears when first activated.
  • Polar Bear’s Beesmas Feast — previously granted a fixed number of Gingerbread Bears alongside other food items.
  • Spirit Bear’s Galentine Shrine and Honey Bee’s Honey Wreath? — prior Beesmas events awarded multiple Gingerbread Bears when these decorations were first completed.

These one-time event rewards vary by Beesmas year. During any current Beesmas, it is worth finishing the seasonal quests linked to each Beesmas decoration because they typically include Gingerbread Bears in their payout mix.

Gift Boxes that give Gingerbread Bears

Opening Beesmas Gift Boxes scattered around the map is another major way Gingerbread Bears are distributed. The exact box names and payouts change each Beesmas, but multiple boxes every year have Gingerbread Bears in their guaranteed rewards.

Examples from previous events include:

Beesmas year Gift Box Gingerbread Bears
2020 Sky Blue Gift Box 2
2020 Soft Gift Box 2
2020 Tan / Glowing / Brass Gift Box 4 each
2020 Merry Gift Box 8
2020 Purple Gift Box 15
2020 Mondo Gift Box 10
2021 Kitsch Gift Box 2
2021 Beige / Emerald / Gummy Gift Box 4 each
2021 Jubilant Gift Box 8
2021 Earthen / Festive Gift Box 6 each
2022 Vibrant Gift Box 6
2022 Chestnut Gift Box 2
2022 Obnoxious Gift Box 8
2022 Charcoal Gift Box 4
2022 Tropical Gift Box 10
2024 (Summer Beesmas) Marigold Gift Box 2
2024 (Summer Beesmas) Woodland / Sweet-n-Sour / Pokey / Celestial / Mythic / Festive Gift Box 5 each

Each Gift Box also includes other items, but the Gingerbread Bear counts listed above are fixed within that year’s event.

Event codes and outdated methods

Some older methods of obtaining Gingerbread Bears are no longer active but are useful for understanding their distribution history.

  • Expired Beesmas codes such as RebootXmas and WintersEnd once granted Gingerbread Bears along with other items.
  • Early Beesmas decorations like the 2020 Beesmas Tree, Polar Bear’s Beesmas Feast, and others gave Gingerbread Bears as one-off rewards when first completed.

These older paths are not available now, but show that Gingerbread Bears consistently appear as rewards for seasonal quest completion and box openings.

Robux packs that include Gingerbread Bears

For players willing to spend Robux, select premium packs in the Robux Shop bundle Gingerbread Bears with other Beesmas rewards. One example bundle grants 100 Gingerbread Bears, while another “feel and festive” style pack includes 25 Gingerbread Bears. Together, these two packs alone account for 125 Gingerbread Bears.

The exact pack names and contents can vary by Beesmas season, but high-end Robux bundles are consistently one of the largest instant sources of Gingerbread Bears in the game.

Prioritizing your Gingerbread Bear farming

Once all the one-time tokens and quest rewards are collected, sustainable Gingerbread Bear income comes from a small set of recurring systems:

  • Keeping Mother Bear’s Gingerbread House claimed regularly so its internal timer never idles.
  • Farming Stump Snail, Coconut Crab, King Beetle, and Tunnel Bear on cooldown for their common Gingerbread Bear drops.
  • Running efficient mob loops through Ladybugs, Scorpions, Werewolves, and any active Festive Nymphs for rare drops.
  • Triggering Onett’s Lid Art and harvesting Festive Planters whenever they are ready.
  • Using Puppy Bee’s Reindeer Fetch once per day for its capped daily Gingerbread Bear token.

Over a full Beesmas, these sources stack with Bee Bear’s quests and Gift Boxes to reach the thousands of Gingerbread Bears needed to clear out Bee Bear’s Catalog, especially when combined with long playtime that keeps the Gingerbread House active and bosses on rotation.
