As an increasing number of users consider migrating away from X, formerly Twitter, several other platforms have come up and are vying for users' attention. Among these, the three most popular ones include Bluesky, Mastodon, and Threads. Each app is distinct from the others and provides a different experience, which is why many users want to take advantage of each offering.

However, managing three different social media apps can be quite a chore, which is where Openvibe comes in. This social media client can help you share updates across Bluesky, Mastodon, Nostr, and Threads from a single app, making it easier to manage your accounts while also helping you save time.

Developed by Tweetoshi, a company based in the Czech Republic, Openvibe is an app designed to allow users to manage multiple networks and accounts from one single location. It shows updates from all your social media apps on its cross-platform feed, is completely free to use without ads, and is available for both Android and iOS devices. Openvibe supports network tags, features a unified timeline, and lets you create posts for different platforms without opening them.

Adding your social media accounts to Openvibe

Viewing feeds and creating posts

  2. You can scroll through the feed to view them. To switch between different types of feeds, you can swipe right. Alternatively, tap on the name of the feed at the top to switch to it.
  1. You can interact with posts and perform actions like replying to a post, reposting it, liking it, and more by tapping on the icons below them.
  2. To view more actions, tap on the three dots below the post on the right.
  1. These options allow you to translate posts using Google, unfollow an account, open posts in dedicated apps, share posts, and report or block accounts.
  2. To create a new post, tap on the '+' icon within the blue circle.
  1. Type what you want to post and add images, GIFs, links, hashtags, etc. using the options at the bottom.
  2. Once you've typed your message and added your images, tap on the two-arrow icon next to the 'Post' button at the top to choose where you want to create the post.
  1. By default, when you create a post on Openvibe, it will be posted across all your connected accounts simultaneously. However, when you tap on the two-arrow icon, you can change this by toggling off posting for specific accounts, like Mastodon, Threads, or Bluesky.
  2. Once you've selected the accounts where you want to create a post, tap on 'Apply'.
