Illusion Connect: Re Partner Rankings for June 2026

Every SSR partner sorted into S through C tiers, with the exact reasons each pick lands where it does.

Every SSR partner sorted into S through C tiers, with the exact reasons each pick lands where it does.

Illusion Connect: Re hands you a deep roster of partners, but only a handful hold up across every team you build. The 29 SSR-rarity units split cleanly by how much damage, crowd control, and team support they bring, and how dependent they are on a specific composition to function. The rankings below sort each partner by combat impact so you know where to spend pulls and upgrade materials first.

Quick answer: Build Miyuki, Anna, Fenebeth, Phoebe, and Yume first. These five S-tier partners perform against nearly every team archetype without needing specific synergy, which makes them the safest investments and the top reroll targets.

What each tier means in Illusion Connect: Re

Tiers reflect combat impact across damage, crowd control, support, and how reliably a partner contributes outside a dedicated build. A higher tier means the unit works in more teams with less setup.

TierWhat it means
SMeta-defining. Strong damage, control, or buffs that hold up against almost any team without specific synergy.
AExcellent individual performance, but most lean on a particular team setup or carry one limitation.
BSolid in the right conditions, though they need certain battlefield states, RNG, or setup time to peak.
CBelow average. Heavily tied to specific archetypes or summon-based teams, with sharply reduced value elsewhere.

S tier partners

These five define the current meta. They function in any mode and rarely leave a competitive lineup once built.

PartnerWhy this tierBest for
Miyuki
Miyuki
Strips 330 Rage from targets and 200 from the enemy Leader while dealing AoE damage to the whole enemy team, delaying their ultimates. Pairing control with steady damage in one kit makes her work everywhere. All modes, AoE DPS, debuffing
Phoebe
Phoebe
Revives herself and gains strong offensive stats afterward, and her 50% DEF reduction on all enemies for 10 seconds lifts the whole team’s damage. AoE plus team support keeps her relevant in PvP and PvE without a dedicated build. All modes, PvP, PvE, support
Anna
Anna
Grants every ally 16.5% DMG Rate and 16.5% DMG RES Rate just by being on the field, with team-wide healing for sustain. She builds her own Rage to heal more often, making her the strongest universal support. All teams, support, healing
Fenebeth
Fenebeth
Applies a battlefield-wide Curse that turns healing into damage for two rounds, punishing heal-heavy teams, and cuts enemy ATK by 40%. She reapplies the Curse even after dying, so her value persists. All modes, anti-heal, support, PvP
Yume
Yume
Cuts enemy Rage regeneration by 20% globally and grants 25% DEF Penetration to herself and allies. She also lands 420% single-target damage, steals 300 Rage from key targets, and stuns enemies at zero Rage.Burst DPS, tank, all modes

A tier partners

Strong picks that perform well but usually want a particular team or carry a single drawback. Most are worth building once your S-tier core is set.

PartnerWhy this tierBest for
Nicola
Nicola
Drops enemy DMG RES by 33% for three rounds to amplify team damage and targets high-HP units first. She has no defense of her own, so burst teams can remove her quickly.Debuffing, burst DPS
Chaturaji
Chaturaji
Spawns six chess pieces with varied ranges, and the summons raise AoE damage enemies take. Strong against the Leader, but the kit offers little beyond damage.Burst DPS, support
Kiraya
Kiraya
Opens with a 40% HP Shield and cuts enemy Rage recovery by 60%, then extends shields to allies. Her defensive focus means low personal damage.Support, tank, frontline
Angela
Angela
Revives a dead ally at 70% HP on entry and gains a 30% HP Shield, then taunts the whole enemy team while holding 80% DMG RES. Low damage locks her into support.Late game, support
Selena
Selena
Gains 33% Max HP and survives fatal damage twice per battle while dealing single-target damage and healing the Leader. One of the best protection units, though her control and buffs are limited.Tank/support, secondary DPS
Rotania
Rotania
Gains 7% DMG Rate and 3% CRIT Rate per enemy on the field, scaling with full enemy formations. Her damage falls off once enemy numbers thin.PvE, AoE DPS
Kasumi
Kasumi
Steals all enemy Shields and Invincibility on deployment, flipping defensive setups. She gains CRIT DMG and extra damage but spends her own HP to attack, leaving her fragile.Debuffing, secondary DPS
Charlotte
Charlotte
Gains 1000 Rage each time an allied Spirit dies and deals heavy AoE that grows against marked Murderers. Her output drops outside summon-focused lineups.Summon-based teams, DPS
Gagaku
Gagaku
Summons up to three Spirit Foxes, and Fox deaths grant a 150% ATK buff against low-HP enemies. The Foxes have only 1 HP and die to AoE, limiting the synergy.Core DPS, PvP

B tier partners

Useful when the conditions line up. Each needs setup time, RNG, or a specific battlefield state to reach full value.

PartnerWhy this tierBest for
Hotaru
Hotaru
Applies Stun for situational control and chains combo attacks when enemies line up in a column. Her output leans on RNG and positioning and sits below top attackers.CC, secondary DPS
Lunar
Lunar
Deals 335% damage to the middle column for strong burst when conditions align, and can deploy for just 1 Energy after enough deaths. Outside raw AoE, her use is narrow.Burst AoE DPS
Frantiva
Frantiva
Summons three Shadows on death for extra DPS and lands heavy single-target burst. Needing to die first before becoming useful caps her overall value.Burst DPS
Gemmy
Gemmy
Revives twice in a fight and scales damage with HP, making her good against tanks and bosses. She offers little beyond damage and returns weaker after her second revive.Tank, secondary DPS
Diana
Diana
Restores 33% Leader HP on deployment and heals injured allies, which helps progression. Anti-heal debuffs counter her easily, and her damage is low.Support/healing
Barinas
Barinas
Revives once per battle for swing potential and gains ATK and DEF per enemy hit by his Ultimate. He needs time to scale and stays vulnerable until then.Late game, burst damage
Yuffie
Yuffie
Raises allied AoE damage by 16.5% globally and hits high-energy enemies harder, which speeds stage clears. Her value falls sharply outside Sorcerer-heavy teams.Sorcerer-heavy teams, AoE DPS
Eileen
Eileen
Gives allies and the Leader 15% DMG RES and sets up combos with an AoE stun. The stun triggers only 20% of the time, and her damage stays low.Tank/support, CC

C tier partners

These depend on narrow archetypes or summon teams and lose most of their impact elsewhere. Build them only when a specific composition calls for them.

PartnerWhy this tierBest for
Astaroth
Astaroth
Restores 400 Rage and heals the Leader on her own death for clutch value. Most of her impact happens after she dies, she needs Barinas for her best passives, and her damage trails higher supports.Support
Maki
Maki
Lands devastating single-target damage that can delete fragile enemies. She brings almost no control or support, needs a lineup built around her, and struggles against groups.Burst DPS
Vivian
Vivian
Cuts the next deployed partner’s cost by 9 Energy for timing plays. Her value hinges on correct timing, her own damage is low, and her use drops after the initial effect.Support
Ashwaya
Ashwaya
Gains 22% ATK per active Wandering Nightmare for strong scaling. She needs her summons to survive, folds against AoE teams, and depends on summon-based comps.Summon teams, secondary DPS
Hachi Shiki
Hachi Shiki
Permanently lowers enemy DMG RES by 20% to raise team DPS. She can stun herself after Frenzy, leans on RNG, and her synergy rules can hurt certain partners.Debuffing
Camille
Camille
Survives well through big shields, taunts, and self-healing. Her damage is below average for a frontline slot, so she rarely helps secure kills.Tank, long fights
The Enforcers
The Enforcers
Reduce summon Energy costs and boost summon stats for real value in the right team. They need a summon-focused lineup and fall off hard without summon partners.Summon-based teams

How to reroll for an S tier partner

Rerolling is fast because guest accounts are supported, so you can chase a top-tier opener without binding your account first.

Launch the game and sign in as a guest to create a fresh account.
Play through the story until you clear Stage 1.2, which unlocks the Summon feature in the main menu.
Spend all of your available pulls on the Radiant Summon banner.
If you do not land an S tier partner, tap the floating window on the left side of the screen, open Settings, scroll down, and choose Delete Account to start a new attempt.

You know the reroll succeeded when one of the five S-tier partners appears in your results. As soon as that happens, sync the account with a social media login right away to lock in your progress. Do not sync before that point, or you will be stuck with the roster you already have.

For most players, Miyuki and Anna are the cleanest reroll goals since they slot into nearly any team. If you can land either alongside Fenebeth, Phoebe, or Yume, you have a foundation that carries through the bulk of the game’s content before you ever touch a lower-tier pick.
