The Eevee and Drifblim Wonder Pick event in Pokémon TCG Pocket is a short, grindable way to pick up two new Promo cards and a full set of Mega Gyarados cosmetics without spending money. It runs alongside the Mega Rising set and plugs straight into the existing Wonder Pick system, so if you already open Wonders daily, most of this event is just about timing and not missing expirations.

Eevee and Drifblim promo cards and how they work
The event focuses on two Promo-B cards from Mega Rising, with alternate art and a Chansey icon to mark them as Wonder Pick promos:
- Eevee (PROMO-B-011) – Colorless, 50 HP
- Ability – Boosted Evolution: While Eevee is in the Active Spot, it can evolve during your first turn or the same turn you play it.
- Stampede: 10 damage for one Colorless Energy.
- Drifblim (PROMO-B-010) – Psychic, 100 HP
- Balloon Barrage: 20+ damage; it deals 20 more for each Energy attached to Drifblim.
Eevee is a flexible evolution starter for any deck that wants to hit Stage 1 or Stage 2 Eeveelutions quickly, and extra copies matter if you want consistent openings. Drifblim is a straightforward scaling attacker that rewards you for stacking Energy on a single Pokémon.

How Wonder Pick, Chansey Pick, and Bonus Pick behave during the event
During the event window, Eevee and Drifblim enter the Wonder Pick rotation in two ways:
- Chansey Pick – premium, stamina-gated slot that always contains only Promo cards.
- Bonus Pick – free slot that can add Promo cards plus Event Shop Tickets and Hourglasses.
Chansey Pick details (Eevee and Drifblim)
The event’s Chansey Pick is a special row that can show up when your Wonder Picks refresh:
- Cost: 2 Wonder Stamina (equivalent to 24 Wonder Hourglass).
- Appearance chance: 2.5% per Wonder Pick refresh.
- Lifetime: between 30 minutes and 4 hours before it expires.
- Contents: any combination of Eevee and Drifblim Promo cards (PROMO-B-011 and PROMO-B-010).
Chansey Picks are the most efficient way to stockpile multiple copies quickly, but they are rare and burn Wonder Stamina, so they’re better for players who already prioritize Wonder Picks over pack opening.

Bonus Pick odds and what you get for free
Bonus Picks are the event’s low-friction reward stream. They sit alongside your normal Wonders and cost no stamina to claim.
- Cost: free (0 Wonder Stamina).
- Appearance chance: 20% per Wonder Pick refresh.
- Lifetime: 30 minutes to 4 hours before expiry.
- Can coexist: Chansey Pick and Bonus Pick can appear at the same time.
The Bonus Pick is split into two options, each with its own weight, but functionally they work the same for most players: you get Event Shop Tickets, Wonder Hourglasses, and a shot at one of the Promo cards.
| Bonus Pick option | Chance | Guaranteed items | Promo card pool (one of) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Option 1 | 30% | 2 Event Shop Tickets, 2 Wonder Hourglasses | Eevee (PROMO-B-011) or Drifblim (PROMO-B-010) |
| Option 2 | 70% | 2 Event Shop Tickets, 2 Wonder Hourglasses | Eevee (PROMO-B-011) or Drifblim (PROMO-B-010) |
Functionally, any Bonus Pick you see is a priority click: it builds your Event Shop Ticket balance and gives extra Wonder Hourglasses to feed back into more Wonder Picks, which in turn can surface more Chansey and Bonus Picks.
Event missions: all tasks and rewards
The mission set running alongside the event is where most of the guaranteed value sits. Missions are focused on three things: performing Wonder Picks, picking up at least one copy of each Promo, and collecting Colorless/Psychic cards while you play.
| Mission | Reward |
|---|---|
| Wonder Pick 5 times | Promo Card Exchange Ticket (event-specific) |
| Collect 1 Eevee Promo Card | 1 Event Shop Ticket |
| Collect 1 Drifblim Promo Card | 1 Event Shop Ticket |
| Wonder Pick 1 time | 2 Event Shop Tickets, 2000 Shinedust (or 200 Trade Tokens, depending on mission list version) |
| Wonder Pick 2 times | 2 Event Shop Tickets |
| Wonder Pick 3 times | 2 Event Shop Tickets |
| Wonder Pick 4 times | 3 Event Shop Tickets |
| Wonder Pick 5 times | 3 Event Shop Tickets |
| Wonder Pick 6 times | 5 Event Shop Tickets |
| Collect 5 Colorless cards | 3 Event Shop Tickets |
| Collect 5 Psychic cards | 3 Event Shop Tickets |
| Collect 10 Colorless cards | 3 Event Shop Tickets |
| Collect 10 Psychic cards | 3 Event Shop Tickets |
The Promo Card Exchange Ticket at five Wonder Picks is the event’s safety net: if you’re unlucky on the Promo draws, you can cash this in for one of the event Promo cards via the in-game event card shop. That keeps the event from being purely RNG for players who are at least moderately active.
Event Shop: every Mega Gyarados accessory and its cost
Event Shop Tickets from missions and Bonus Picks feed into a limited-time shop focused on Mega Gyarados and Magikarp-themed cosmetics, plus a Shinedust sink. You access these items from the Limited-Time/Event tab in the in-game Shop.
| Item | Category | Cost (Event Shop Tickets) | Use | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Magikarp (Backdrop) | Display Board backdrop | 3 | Background for cards in the Display Boards feature. | Water-themed board option. |
| Mega Gyarados (Cover) | Binder cover | 3 | Cover art for binders in the Binders feature. | Pairs well with Mega Rising collections. |
| Winter Holiday 2025 (Backdrop) | Display Board backdrop | 3 | Seasonal board background. | Holiday-specific design. |
| Mega Gyarados (Card Sleeve) | Card sleeve | 5 | Back cover art for cards during play and in collection views. | Applies to all cards in a deck when equipped. |
| Mega Gyarados (Coin) | Battle coin | 5 | Used for in-battle coin flips. | Purely visual, no gameplay effect. |
| Mega Gyarados (Playmat) | Playmat | 10 | In-play zone layout during battles. | Most expensive cosmetic in the event shop. |
| Magikarp (Icon) | Profile icon | 2 | Selectable avatar on the profile screen. | Low-cost way to personalize your profile. |
| 50 Shinedust | Currency | 1 | Used to obtain card flairs when you have duplicates. | Purchase limit: 20 times per event. |
You can exchange Event Shop Tickets up until December 24, 2025 at 6:00 a.m. UTC. After that, any unspent event tickets tied to this shop lose their purpose, so there is no benefit to hoarding them.

How to prioritize your time and tickets
The event is short, and the ticket economy is fairly tight, so it helps to decide early what you actually want.
If you care most about cosmetics:
- Make sure you hit every “Wonder Pick N times” mission; these are the largest single chunks of Event Shop Tickets.
- Claim every Bonus Pick you see for the extra tickets, even if you already have the Promo cards.
- Expect the Mega Gyarados Playmat and card sleeves to consume most of your tickets; plan around those first, then backdrops and icons.
If you care most about the Promo cards:
- Use your first Promo Card Exchange Ticket on whichever Promo you fail to pull naturally.
- Spend Wonder Stamina on Chansey Picks only when they actually appear; otherwise, standard Wonder Picks still contribute to missions and can reveal future Bonus/Chansey rows.
- Remember that both Eevee and Drifblim can also be obtained through the Event Card Shop during the event, so you are not locked into Wonder Pick RNG alone.
If you just log in casually:
- Even a handful of Wonder Picks will unlock the first missions and give you enough tickets for at least one cosmetic, usually a backdrop or icon.
- The extended Event Shop window means you can do most of your spending in the final days once you know your exact ticket count.
Wonder Pick events in Pokémon TCG Pocket live or die on how often you open the game. For Eevee and Drifblim, the loop is simple: refresh Wonders regularly, never leave a Bonus Pick unclaimed, and clear the small checklist of missions on the way to a Mega Gyarados playmat and a pair of Promo cards that will keep showing up in decks long after the event disappears from the calendar.
