Roblox Star Codes let you support a creator when you buy Robux or Membership. Applying one does not change the amount you receive. The creator gets 5% of the purchase, and you keep the Robux you paid for.
How Roblox Star Codes work
A Star Code is tied to a creator in the Roblox Video Stars Program. You enter the code during checkout, under the Support a Star option.
On the payment screen, Roblox shows a prompt to add a Star Code. After you enter it and select Add, the checkout page shows which creator you are supporting.
How to use a Roblox Star Code on the website
Step 1: Open the Robux purchase page and choose the amount you want to buy. You can also apply a Star Code during Membership checkout.
Step 2: Continue to the payment screen. Under the order summary, select Click Here to add a Star Code.
Step 3: When the Support a Star box opens, type the creator’s code into the Enter Star Code field. Then select Add.
Step 4: Check that the page now shows the creator you are supporting. Once that appears, you can finish the purchase normally.
How to use a Roblox Star Code in the Roblox app
Step 1: Open the Roblox app and go to the Membership section. Scroll to the Star Code field near the end of the page.
Step 2: Tap the button that opens the code entry area. The app displays the field where you can enter the code.
Step 3: Enter the creator’s code and tap Add. The app then shows the creator you are supporting.
How to know the Star Code worked
A valid code updates the checkout area to show the creator linked to that code. On the website, this appears after you press Add in the Support a Star section.
Roblox also explains the result in the tooltip beside Support a Star: the creator earns 5% of your purchase, and you still keep the Robux you paid for.
Roblox Star Code rules that matter
Star Codes are used during Robux or Membership checkout, not in the normal promo code redemption flow. They are support codes, not item codes.
Letter casing can matter, so enter the code exactly as shown by the creator. After the code is accepted, the creator name shown on the page is the confirmation to look for.
