Crustnut location (Sands of Karak)

The Crustnut sits in the Sands of Karak, not in the Blasted Steps. It’s tucked behind a breakable wall within the Sands, so the item won’t appear until you strike the weak section to open a small side room. Look for this after you push north from the Blasted Steps into the sandy region.

Landmarks that help anchor you: the area lies beyond the Great Conchflies boss encounter in the Blasted Steps, and the pickup is positioned above Pinstress’s balloon within the broader Karak expanse. If you reach the balloon, you’re close—scan nearby walls for a brittle segment and break through.

Route context: getting from Blasted Steps to Sands of Karak

  1. Progress through the Blasted Steps until you clear the Great Conchflies boss encounter.
  2. Continue northward into the Sands of Karak. This transition moves you out of the rocky steps and into a sandy zone.
  1. Use Pinstress’s balloon as a reference point once you’re in Karak; the Crustnut is found above that landmark.
  2. Probe walls in nearby chambers; when you find the fragile section, break it to reveal the Crustnut room.
Tip: If you’ve swept the Blasted Steps and come up empty, you’re looking in the wrong region. Push into the Sands of Karak and focus on hidden walls.
