Windy Peak is where the game really opens up, the first proper hub once the early steps are behind you. It is the place the opening quests point toward, and the ground most other locations end up measured against. The area carries its own shrine for fast travel, and two of its landmarks sit close together near the peak marker: Raze's Sword Shop and the character Kuko. A single visit there covers your first weapon and a face worth coming back to.

Expect company on the approach. Windy Peak Bandits work the paths, and an early escort errand runs through the area, so the peak doubles as a training ground while the layout sinks in. The boss Zuko holds ground nearby, which makes this a natural base rather than a place you pass through. Unlock the shrine, clear what you can on foot, and treat Windy Peak as the point you keep returning to as the rest of the map opens.
