Big Walk hides seven radio stations across the island, and each one adds a different music track to your handheld radio. Every station is tied to its own transmitter, a green box fitted with an antenna and marked by a red stripe showing the station number. You unlock a channel by walking up to that transmitter and pressing its button, at which point the song becomes selectable on your portable radio.
Quick answer: Pick up the handheld radio at the red music area near the start (map 3700, 1190), then activate the transmitter inside each of the seven colored music arenas. Six can be reached through normal exploration; station 5 only opens after you complete the Yellow Tower to unlock the yellow tunnel.

Get the handheld radio first
You cannot tune into any channel without the handheld radio, and it sits right beside the first station. Unlock the crosswalk early in the game, then follow the walkway to the red music area overlooking the ocean. The handheld radio rests next to the transmitter.
Press the red button to switch on station 1, then turn on the handheld radio so the music travels with you. A backpack helps here, because you can only carry one item in your hands at a time and a bag keeps you free to solve puzzles while the music plays.

Each station lives inside a colorful arena or platform set that broadcasts its own music through nearby speakers. If you hear a tune that is not coming from your own device, you are close to a transmitter. Use the map coordinates below and the tower each area sits near to line up your approach.
| Station | Music area | Map coordinates | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Red | 3700, 1190 | Near the starting area on the crosswalk, overlooking the ocean. Also holds the handheld radio. |
| 2 | Purple | 4250, 2020 | Far south of the map. Ride the chairlift, then walk a little way down the hill. |
| 3 | Light green | 3820, 1620 | In the forest near the Red Tower puzzles, down the path from the heavy-ball puzzle. The transmitter is at the back of the arena. |
| 4 | Yellow | 3310, 1850 | Down the mountainside from the Blue Tower. The transmitter sits by a wall with window cutouts. |
| 5 | Secret (underground) | Tunnel entrance 3500, 1620 | Inside the nightclub reached through the yellow tunnel. Requires the Yellow Tower key. |
| 6 | Blue | 3990, 1800 | A series of light blue platforms northwest of the Green Tower, tucked among rocks and trees against a rockface. |
| 7 | Pink | 3310, 1280 | West of the Yellow Tower. Drop down the mountain toward the pink grid-like structure; the transmitter is near the back. |
Note: The channels almost never unlock in numerical order. Following the game’s natural progression, most players pick them up as red, light green, yellow, blue, pink, purple, and finally the secret station.
How to unlock station 5 in the tunnel
Station 5 is the only channel that needs progression before you can reach it. It waits in an underground nightclub at the end of the yellow tunnel, so the tunnel network has to be open first.

Tip: Completing the Green Tower first makes reaching the Yellow Tower easier, which in turn speeds up getting to this station.
How to confirm a station is unlocked
When you press a transmitter’s button, the matching arena’s speakers switch on, and the numbered channel becomes selectable on your handheld radio. Cycle through the radio, and the new station will now be there to choose. Songs loop on each channel, so you can leave the radio running as you keep exploring.
These music transmitters are separate from the communication radio stations used for talking across the island. Music receivers add songs to the handheld radio, while the transmitter and receiver pairs on the towers carry voice between players.

If a station won’t unlock
- No handheld radio: You cannot listen to any channel until you collect the handheld radio at the red station near the start.
- Crosswalk still locked: Unlock the crosswalk before you go collecting channels, since the natural route to the first station runs through it.
- Station 5 stays out of reach: The nightclub transmitter is inaccessible until the Yellow Tower is complete and the yellow tunnel is open.
You cannot permanently miss any station. If you skip one on a first pass, you can return later once trains, the chairlift, and the tunnels open up more of the island, making it straightforward to finish the full set of seven before the end of the game.
