Fields of Mistria Museum: How to Donate, Every Wing, and Rewards

A full breakdown of the four museum wings, all collection sets, and what completing them gives you.

The museum in Fields of Mistria is a long-haul collection project run by Errol, tucked inside The Narrows. You fill it by donating categorized items across four wings, and every completed set feeds into your town’s overall rank while handing back furniture, currency, crafting recipes, and other rewards. The scope is bigger than it looks at first, so here is exactly what each wing wants and how to hand items in.

Quick answer: Go to the museum in The Narrows, interact with the ledger book on the desk, choose Donate, then place any highlighted eligible item to lock it into its set. Most sets need five specific items; the only current exception is the Legendary Fish Set, which needs four.

How to donate items to the museum

Donating is quick once you have reached the building. Eligible items glow in the menu, while anything you have already donated or that does not qualify stays greyed out. You can also check inventory tooltips or the almanac to see whether an item still counts toward a set.

Travel to The Narrows and enter the museum. This is also where the wing rooms can be entered, letting you walk through and view each collection in full.

The four museum wings

The museum splits into four wings, each dedicated to a different kind of collectible. Every wing tracks its own completion percentage, and the rewards you earn scale with how many sets you finish inside it.

  • Archaeology — dug-up materials, artifacts, ores, and gems
  • Fish — catches sorted by season, water type, and biome
  • Flora — crops, flowers, and forageables
  • Insects — bugs plus apiary and terrarium byproducts

Archaeology Wing sets

Archaeology items come from digging the circular dig spots that appear on the surface and in the mines with a shovel or pickaxe. Different areas produce different finds, and several sets are gated behind specific skills you unlock through play.

Fish Wing sets

Fish are grouped by where and when you catch them, so the set name usually tells you the location and season to target. Legendary catches require level 30 fishing with the “Legendary” skill. Note that mine and cavern fish have no time or weather restrictions.

Flora Wing sets

Most flora is either grown on your farm or foraged in the wild during the right season. If you miss a seasonal item, it can occasionally show up in Balor’s rotating stock, so it is worth checking there when a set is stuck one item short.

Insects Wing sets

Bugs carry season and time-of-day requirements but no skill unlocks. Two sets stand apart: the Honey Set and Terrarium Treasures Set collect byproducts from apiaries and terrariums rather than caught insects, so they fill up through animal and equipment production instead of a net.

Rewards and Town Rank

Completing a set pays out based on how many sets you have finished within that wing. Rewards include treasure boxes, currency, cosmetics, furniture, and crafting recipes, so the more you complete inside a single wing, the larger the payout gets.

Every donation also adds to Renown, which raises the town’s overall Town Rank. A higher rank unlocks new features and rewards as Mistria develops, so museum progress and town progress push each other forward.

How to finish sets faster

Because so many items are one-time donations, the biggest mistake is selling something the museum still needs. A few habits keep you from having to re-farm a rare drop.

Player character standing outside the farmhouse ready to explore
Regular trips through the farm, mines, and forage spots keep sets moving.
  • Before selling any crop, fish, or artifact, check its tooltip or the almanac to confirm it is not still needed for a set.
  • Sweep common foraging and flower spots often so seasonal items do not slip past before the season ends.
  • Return to the deeper mine floors regularly, since several rare gems and artifacts only appear at specific depths.

Work through it wing by wing and season by season, and the museum steadily fills out while quietly lifting your Town Rank the whole way there.
