Fortnite Droid Tycoon: All 17 Droid Fusion Recipes

Droid Fusion is live in Fortnite Droid Tycoon as a permanent Workshop machine. You seat three droids, pay a credit fee, and one droid comes out. That result can be a named hybrid, a new variation, or a higher-rarity version of what you fed it.

Quick answer: Put the three droids from a recipe on the Fusion Machine pedestals, wait until the screen reads FUSION READY, then pay the credit cost. Three copies of the same droid become one droid of the next rarity.

The machine accepts mixed sets as well as three matching copies. These 17 combinations are the named outputs. Ingredient names below match the droid labels in the Workshop.

Several of those outputs are workers you can put straight onto a job. RIV-3T is the standout on that list. A Stellar Mythic RIV-3T produces 1.05M credits per second. After a worker fusion finishes, open that droid and select Work to confirm the new production rate and watch the job bar fill.

Upgrade rarity with three identical droids

The mixed recipes above create new named droids. The other rule is simpler. Three copies of one droid fuse into a single droid one rarity tier higher. Three Galactic IG droids become one Stellar IG Mythic. The same pattern applies to other lines.

That path skips the chip counter at the upgrade station. Taking a Galactic IG to Stellar through chips costs 90,000 upgrade chips. Feeding the machine three Galactic IGs costs 6.38T credits instead. You lose the three inputs and keep one stronger droid.

Fusions also drip Nova Crystals. Every three completed fusions awards 3 Nova Crystals. That is the same currency used to buy a second Fusion Tank, so the duplicate path feeds both rarity and the crystal sink.

How to start a Droid Fusion

Wrong sets do nothing useful. The machine only arms when the three pedestals match a valid recipe or three identical copies. Use FUSION READY as the check before you spend credits.

Walk to the Fusion area in your base and stand at the Droid Fusion Machine in the Workshop. You need three droids already in inventory before the pedestals will accept a set.

Interact with each of the three pedestals and assign one required droid. For a named hybrid, follow the table. For a rarity bump, assign three copies of the same droid, such as three Galactic IGs.

Watch the machine screen. A valid set flips it to FUSION READY. If that label never appears, one pedestal is wrong and the fee will not start a real fusion.

Pay the credit cost shown on the machine. The Stellar IG fusion charges 6.38T credits. Other outputs use their own fee, displayed only after the set is valid.

Leave the three droids in the tank until the timer ends, or hit the tank with your pickaxe to shave time. While they cook, the Fused Droids objective banner can sit on screen and track Crafting Boost Token progress, including a 0/5 count at the start of a run.

Fusion timer, Chopper, and extra tanks

High-tier fusions are not instant. The Stellar IG run starts at 30:59:57, just under 31 hours if you never touch the tank. Pickaxing the tank is the only confirmed way to pull that clock down.

Equip Chopper before you swing. That droid adds +50% Crit Chance and Damage plus +15%/s, which makes each hit on the tank cut more time. You are still swinging at a physical tank. There is no separate skip button in the machine UI.

One tank means one fusion at a time. A second Fusion Tank unlocks for 300 Nova Crystals or 1800 V-Bucks. Crystals can come from the three-fusion award. The V-Bucks price is a straight cash option for a second queue.

Note: Only the Stellar IG fee and timer are confirmed in exact numbers. Treat every other output as its own cost and wait, and read both values on the machine after FUSION READY appears.

Confirm the new droid in the Droidex

A finished fusion stores the new droid in the Droidex. Open that collection to see whether the output landed. If you fused three Galactic IGs, the Stellar IG Mythic entry should fill. If it is still blank, that form is not in your collection yet.

You know a run worked when FUSION READY appeared before you paid, the tank timer completed, and the new name is marked in the Droidex. No FUSION READY means the pedestals do not match a valid set, and the machine will not produce WHL-EX, RIV-3T, a Stellar copy, or anything else from that attempt.
