Pawprint Studio packed Aniimo with winks at games, music, and other franchises, tucked into poses, signs, cosmetics, and a side event. Most sit in plain view once you know where to look, and one of them doubles as a puzzle that pays out a collectible you need for a larger quest.

Quick answer: Aniimo hides references to Red Dead Redemption 2, The Beatles, and Pokémon across Echoback Landing, Horizon Square, and its cosmetics. Solving the Beatles band puzzle also rewards a Voxel Cube.

Red Dead Redemption 2 pose in Echoback Landing

Head to the stage in the RV Park of Echoback Landing to find a Celestis standing in a deliberate recreation of the Red Dead Redemption 2 cover. The Celestis mimics Arthur Morgan’s stance and even wears a cowboy hat to complete the nod.

The Beatles references around Horizon Square

Aniimo leans into The Beatles twice, and both nods live in and around Horizon Square. One is a static sign; the other is an interactive puzzle with a reward attached.

The “Aniimo Beatelz” sign

North of Horizon Square you will find a sign labeled Aniimo Beatelz, a riff on The Beatles’ album artwork. An NPC stands in front of it, talking up an in-world band called the Windgliders and hoping to catch them live someday.

The Hey Jude band puzzle

A Chirpi, a Tromber, a Cornet, and a Tubster form a band perched on a set of horns nearby. Speak with Judy, who stands beside the Tubster, and offer to help her recall the song from her dream. Next, tune the four performers in the specified order.

Approach the Chirpi and choose Hey.
Approach the Tromber and choose Hey, hey.
Talk to the Cornet and choose Hey, hey, hey, hey.

After the band gets in tune, they perform “Hey Jude,” the song Judy had been trying to remember. She quips that it will remain a classic 50 years from now. Solving the puzzle rewards you with a Voxel Cube, one of the nine cubes needed for the Mysterious Presence side quest.

Hold on to that Voxel Cube rather than ignoring it. It feeds directly into the Mysterious Presence quest line that starts at the glitching sign outside ChillBeanz in Horizon Square.

Pokémon references in events and cosmetics

Pokémon shows up in two forms: a recurring event and a hidden cosmetic detail.

The Who’s That Aniimo? event

Who’s That Aniimo? asks players to guess a creature from in-game hints, then photograph it for rewards. The format mirrors the “Who’s That Pokémon?” segments from the Pokémon anime, where viewers identified a Pokémon by its silhouette.

Oddish on the Home Girl dress

The Grass/Poison Pokémon, Oddish, is named in the artwork for the Home Girl dress, a cosmetic you can exchange for in Homeland. The creature printed on the fabric doesn’t resemble Oddish, and no other part of the game uses its name.

You will know the band puzzle worked when the four creatures begin playing “Hey Jude” and the Voxel Cube lands in your inventory. The other references are visual or named finds, so spotting the pose, the sign, or the Oddish text on the dress is the confirmation itself.
