Celeste deals in Assorted Seeds instead of Coins, and the Frozen Trail update filled her stall with crafting materials you can buy with the seeds you scavenge Topside. If you have been hoarding seeds and wondering what they are actually good for, her trade list is the answer.
Quick answer: Open TRADERS, select Celeste, and go to TRADES. Her list contains 30 offers paid for with Assorted Seeds. The five basic materials have no purchase cap and cost 1 seed each; other offers increase in price and unlock at account levels 7, 12, and 20.
Where Assorted Seeds come from
Assorted Seeds are a Common Nature item that can be stacked in groups of 100 and have almost no weight. Their in-game card calls them a small handful of seeds that could interest Celeste, pointing you toward her shop. Selling them directly earns 100 Coins per seed.
Scrappy produces Assorted Seeds at your base too. At Scrappy level 1, the basic haul in WORKSHOP > Scrappy > NEST includes 8 Assorted Seeds, and feeding Scrappy Agave raises how many seeds that haul returns.

The five basics you can buy right away
Metal Parts, Plastic Parts, Rubber Parts, Chemicals, and Fabric each cost a single seed with no daily cap. These are the backbone materials for ammo, shields, bandages, grenades, and dozens of other recipes, so they are the trades worth hitting whenever your seed pile is high and your workbench is short.
SheetMetal and Planks sit just above them at 3 seeds each, also with no limit. Both are the furniture crafting materials introduced in the 2.0 update, so this is where you top up when you are building out the Outpost.
One concrete use: installing Research Station I calls for 35 Planks (alongside 5 Battered Paperback and 3 Mini Pump). Buying those Planks from Celeste works out to 105 seeds, which is an easy way to clear that requirement if you are not finding wood Topside.

What each account level unlocks
Most of Celeste’s stall is locked behind your account level, and each tier adds a block of materials with its own daily Limited Stock.
- Level 7: nine uncommon materials, including Wires, Battery, Oil, Canister, Magnet, Duct Tape, Steel Spring, Great Mullein, and Simple Gun Parts.
- Level 12: twelve rare materials, including Heavy, Medium, and Light Gun Parts, Synthesized Fuel, Moss, Sensors, Processor, and Steel Cable.
- Level 20: Complex Gun Parts and Exodus Modules, both capped at one purchase per day.
Complex Gun Parts and Exodus Modules are the Epic-tier materials at the bottom of her list, and the most expensive things she sells at 60 and 55 seeds. The level-20 lock and the one-per-day limit mean you cannot bulk-buy them, so plan around a single run each day.
Is it worth spending seeds instead of selling them?
Because one seed sells for 100 Coins, you can line up what each trade costs in Coin terms against what the material itself is worth. On every offer, the Coin value of the seeds you hand over is higher than the Coin value of the material you receive.
| Item | Seed cost in Coins | Item Coin value |
|---|---|---|
| 100 | 75 | |
| SheetMetal / Planks | 300 | 100 |
| 500 | 300 | |
| 500 | 250 | |
| 700 | 330 | |
| 6,000 | 3,000 |
The takeaway is simple. These trades are for grabbing materials you actually need to craft with, not for turning a profit. If you only care about Coins, selling the seeds nets you more than buying and reselling anything on the list.
Daily stock reset and confirming a purchase
Every offer with a Limited Stock refills on a daily timer, and the countdown on those entries points to roughly midnight UTC. Once you have cleared a day’s allowance of Complex Gun Parts or gun parts, you wait for that reset before buying more.
You will know a trade worked when the seed count on the REQUIRED RESOURCES line drops by the price and the material appears in your inventory. For limited items, the stock counter on that offer also ticks down, so a Limited Stock reading of 9/10 after buying one Wires confirms it registered.
