The Clock Strikes 9-1-1 is a Cluemaster puzzle tucked into the Cauldron North district of Gotham in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, sitting near map coordinates 180, 519. The cage holding the Riddle Box opens once you set a wall-mounted clock to the correct time, and finding each digit requires character abilities from outside the standard Batman kit.
Characters and gadgets you need
Two members of the Bat-Family make this puzzle straightforward. Without them you can still spot the first digit, but the rest of the clock stays hidden.
| Digit | Value | How it is revealed |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | 1 | Visible on the puzzle board; follow the marking near the clock face. |
| 2nd | 1 | Use Catwoman’s whip to pull the cover off and expose the digit. |
| 3rd | 0 | Also uncovered by Catwoman’s whip on the second hidden panel. |
| 4th | 5 | Switch to Robin and throw a Batarang at the small caged hook, then trace the line back to the digit. |

Confirming completion
The cage hinges open, and the Riddle Box becomes interactable the instant the clock locks to 11:05. Grab the box to register the puzzle as solved in your Cluemaster checklist. If the cage does not open, one of the digits is still off by a position; recheck each slot and confirm the minute hand is on 5, not 6.

If you do not have Catwoman or Robin yet
Both characters unlock through the main story progression. Catwoman joins after her introduction chapter, and Robin becomes playable during The Dynamic Duo mission, which is also where the first Cluemaster Challenge Room is solved. Until they are unlocked, the second through fourth digits stay covered, and the clock cannot be set correctly. Returning to Cauldron North after both join the roster lets you finish the puzzle in a single visit.
