The Mystery Statue quest in VV: Ultimatum sends you after three glowing extracts and ends with a hidden portal that drops you into a shrine for free individual skill refunds. You start and finish the quest at the same spot, so the work is all in tracking down the orbs and bringing them back. It is one of the more drawn-out early-to-mid game objectives because two of the three extracts sit behind level gates and a randomly spawning boss.
Quick answer: Reach level 15 and talk to Clint to begin. Grab the Intelligence Extract from finishing the tutorial, the Strength Extract from the Crocodile King in the Swamp, and the Masked Hollow Man Extract from the secret boss in the Soul Society Outskirts. Place all three in the statues next to Clint, then walk through the portal that appears to reach the skill refund shrine.

Start the Mystery Statue quest with Clint (level 15)
The quest comes from an NPC named Clint. From the Sweetwater Pass spawn, head straight forward until you find him standing across the road from three large statues, a fallen tree trunk, and a broken staircase. The area stands out, so it is hard to walk past.
Clint only offers the quest once you are at least level 15. If the quest dialogue does not appear, you are underleveled. The quickest route to level 15 is clearing every quest around Sweetwater Pass, with main story missions first since they hand out the most XP. Combat kills also add up. Once you hit 15, speak to Clint again, and the quest unlocks.

Add to Google Preferences →All three extracts and where they drop
You need three extracts, each a glowing colored orb tagged as a “Quest Item” in your inventory. Every orb has its own matching statue at Clint’s location, and the order you place them does not matter.
| Extract | Color | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Intelligence Extract | Blue orb | Awarded after finishing the tutorial |
| Strength Extract | Green orb | Dropped by the Crocodile King boss in the Swamp |
| Masked Hollow Man Extract | Orange orb | Dropped by the secret boss in the Soul Society Outskirts |
Intelligence Extract (finish the tutorial)
This blue orb is the simplest to claim. You receive it automatically once you complete the tutorial section, with no boss fight required. You keep the Intelligence Extract whether or not you defeat the tutorial end boss, Gelum, so you can skip that fight when the helpful spirit prompts you. Beating Gelum is still worth it for the extra rewards and to learn the basic controls before harder content.

Strength Extract (Crocodile King boss in the Swamp)
The green Strength Extract drops from the Crocodile King boss in the Swamp. Reaching the fight takes preparation because two requirements stand in the way.
- The quest that unlocks the Crocodile King fight only opens at level 35.
- You need the respirator to enter the Swamp, or the toxic fumes will kill you quickly.
Between the level requirement and the respirator gate, this is usually the longest extract to obtain. Expect the Mystery Statue quest to sit in your journal for a while as you build up to it. Defeat the Crocodile King, then pick up the Strength Extract from the drop.

Masked Hollow Man Extract (secret boss in the Soul Society Outskirts)
The orange Masked Hollow Man Extract is the hardest to pin down. It drops from a secret boss that spawns at random somewhere in the Soul Society Outskirts, and that boss is not always present. When it appears, a server-wide message reading “a big Hollow has appeared” shows up for everyone. Treat that as your cue to stop what you are doing and start hunting for him in the Outskirts.
The respawn timing is unpredictable, so missing the window can mean a long wait for another chance. Defeat the boss to collect the extract.
Tip: Because the spawn is broadcast to the whole server, other players will rush the same spot. Teaming up makes the fight faster and safer.

Place the extracts and open the portal
You know it worked when the portal spawns after the third extract goes in and the room opens on the other side. If no portal shows up, you are still missing an extract or one is not in its correct statue.

The reward: free individual skill refund shrine
Inside the pink room is a shrine that refunds individual skills when you interact with it. That is the whole point of the quest. Without the shrine, changing your build would mean resetting the entire skill tree, which normally costs Robux.
The free per-skill refund makes this one of the most valuable early questlines to clear. It lets you correct early skill point mistakes, try different combinations, and adjust your build as the game changes over time. Once all three extracts are placed and you have used the shrine, the Mystery Statue objective is done. You can jump back into VV: Ultimatum on Roblox to put the refund to work.
