Grow a Garden 2 Gears: Every Shop Item, Price, and Effect

A full rundown of every gear in GAG 2, what each one costs in Sheckles or Robux, and how it works.

A full rundown of every gear in GAG 2, what each one costs in Sheckles or Robux, and how it works.

Gears are the utility items in Grow a Garden 2 that handle everything farming alone can’t. Some speed up crop growth and boost mutation odds, while others exist purely to defend your plot or harass the player creeping toward your best fruit. Since the game blends gardening with nighttime stealing, the right gear matters in almost every situation.

Quick answer: Buy gears from the Gear Shop at the center of the lobby. Talk to the shop vendor, open the gear menu, and purchase items with Sheckles when in stock or with Robux for the premium ones. The shop restocks every 5 minutes, and rarer gears appear less often.

All Grow a Garden 2 gears and prices (Sheckles)

Most gears are bought with Sheckles. Sprinklers and watering cans speed up growth, mushrooms give your character temporary boosts, and the rest cover defense, movement, and pure mischief. New gears arrived with the Aurora event on June 20, 2026, including the Player Magnet and Megaphone. Here is the complete list with prices and effects.

Robux-only gears in Grow a Garden 2

A handful of the strongest gears can only be bought with Robux. These lean heavily toward player-versus-player play, letting you trap, freeze, or knock back anyone trying to raid your garden, or fly across the lobby yourself.

Where to find the Gear Shop in Grow a Garden 2

The Gear Shop sits in the center of the lobby. Grow a Garden 2 uses a circular map where every player’s garden plot rings the central marketplace, so the shop is never far. That hub also holds the Seed Shop, Sell Shop, and Props Shop.

Gear Shop in Grow a Garden 2

You can walk straight to the marketplace, or tap the blue Gears icon at the top of the screen to teleport there instantly. Once you reach the vendor, open the gear menu to see the current stock. Anything in stock can be bought with Sheckles, and premium items can be purchased with Robux even when they are not currently rotated in.

Best gears to buy first in Grow a Garden 2

The gear list is still fairly short, but a few items pull far more weight than the rest. If money is tight early, prioritize the ones below before spending on novelty gear.

  • Super Sprinkler: The clearest growth upgrade. Drop it next to your highest-value plants to pull massive, mutation-rich fruit.
  • Speed Mushroom: A cheap movement boost. Pair it with a speed pet and you can outrun defenders during a night raid.
  • Gnome: Your best passive defense. It pushes off players who try to enter your plot and discourages repeat thieves.

Because the shop refreshes every 5 minutes and rarer gear shows up less often, it pays to check stock frequently. Keep a small Sheckle reserve so you can grab a Super Sprinkler or defensive item the moment it appears, and you will steadily build a garden that grows fast and survives the night.
