ARC Raiders Search ARC Probes, Couriers and Assessors Trial – Best Score Setup

Where to farm, which conditions to pick, and the exact loadout that locks in three stars fast.

Where to farm, which conditions to pick, and the exact loadout that locks in three stars fast.

Search ARC Probes, Couriers and Assessors is a Trial in ARC Raiders that rewards you for tracking down and looting ARC Probes, ARC Couriers, and ARC Assessors across a raid. Every section you search adds a fixed chunk of points toward star milestones, so the whole objective comes down to one thing: find as many of these objects as possible before the timer runs out and search each one.

Quick answer: Load into Spaceport during the Electromagnetic Storm condition, bring as many Adrenaline Shots as you can carry, and search every Probe and Courier you find. Each search gives 286 points, and you need roughly 11 of them to clear the 3,000-point three-star milestone.

Scoring and star milestones

Points only come from searching the three target objects. Each section you search is worth 286 points, and that value never changes regardless of which object it is or who searched it first. The Trial caps its star rewards at three tiers.

MilestonePoints neededSections required
1 star1,0004
2 stars2,0007
3 stars3,00011

One detail matters a lot here. You do not have to be the player who first breaches a Probe or Courier. If you walk up to one that another Raider already opened, searching it yourself still pays out the full 286 points. Treat every Probe and Courier on the map as fair game.

Where to run the Trial

The Trial can be completed on every map except Stella Montis. Spaceport is the strongest choice because it has a very high number of potential Probe and Courier spawn points, which keeps your route dense and your downtime low.

The map condition you pick changes what spawns and how each object behaves. Electromagnetic Storm is the cleanest path to three stars, but the other conditions have specific trade-offs worth knowing.

ConditionWhat it changesNotes
Electromagnetic StormMore Crashed Probes and CouriersEach has only one section, but density makes this the fastest route to three stars
Prospecting ProbesMore Probes descend from the sky, each with three lootable sectionsBreaching a Probe alerts all nearby ARC, and drone counts are higher
Close ScrutinyAssessors spawn and appear with pinpoint locations on the mapEasy points with many Raiders around, but usually more effort than it is worth

For most players, Spaceport plus Electromagnetic Storm is the combination to chase. Assessors only appear during Close Scrutiny, and chasing them tends to cost more time and risk than simply looping Probes and Couriers under a storm.

How to spot Probes and Couriers

Both objects give away their position before you can see them clearly. They emit thick black smoke, so a plume on the horizon is your cue to redirect.

  • ARC Probes look like missiles stuck into the ground or crash-landed on their side. They also beep, and during certain conditions they drop in mid-match, so you can watch them fall and land.
  • ARC Couriers are larger and boxier with a flying-saucer shape, which makes them easier to see from a distance. They use set spawn points, so they are more predictable than Probes.

Loadout for fast looting

This Trial is about movement, not combat. Build around mobility and survival, and carry a weapon only as a backup. Stamina regeneration is the priority because it lets you sprint between spawns without stopping.

  • As many stacks of Adrenaline Shots as you can fit
  • Survivor MK.3 Augment
  • Medium Shield, or a Light Shield for slightly faster movement
  • 5 Shield Rechargers
  • 5 to 10 Bandages
  • Smoke Grenades or a Photoelectric Cloak to slip past ARC
  • Any gun and ammo you are comfortable with as a fallback
  • If you only want the weekly three-star reward, a Free Loadout is enough to reach 3,000 points. To push for a high score, bring a full loadout so you can stack the maximum number of Adrenaline Shots. During Prospecting Probes specifically, the extra drones mean Seeker Grenades and Wolfpacks are worth packing.

    Solo route for three stars

Drop into Spaceport during Electromagnetic Storm and start moving immediately. You can begin almost anywhere, so pick the nearest cluster of Probes and head straight for it.
Loop the map and search every Probe and Courier you pass, including ones other Raiders have already opened. Finding a couple of Probe clusters plus the occasional Courier is enough to clear 3,000 points on its own.
If you want a high score rather than just the three stars, burn Adrenaline Shots and sprint the full loop end to end. A solid solo run lands somewhere around 14,000 to 18,000 points depending on spawns.

    Squad route for maximum score

The Trial scales well across all party sizes, but a full squad earns the most when you stop overlapping. Split Spaceport into three sections and assign one player to each, so nobody is racing a teammate to the same Probe.

With everyone using Adrenaline Shots, each player can clear their third before the extraction timer forces you out. That coordination can easily triple a solo run’s total, and any overlapping spots near the edges can be sorted out over comms as you go. For friendly lobbies, aggression-based matchmaking gives consistently safe results.

    Confirming your progress

Your score climbs by 286 every time a search completes, and the Trial tracks toward the 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000 thresholds for one, two, and three stars. Reaching 3,000 locks in the three-star reward, so once you have searched about 11 objects you can extract whenever you like. The Trial was added in patch 1.28.0.

If your points are not moving, the usual cause is interacting with the wrong objects. Only ARC Probes, ARC Couriers, and ARC Assessors count, and remember that Assessors exist exclusively during Close Scrutiny. Stick to Spaceport under Electromagnetic Storm, keep chasing the black smoke plumes, and the star milestones come quickly.
