The headline first-party and third-party Switch 2 discounts worth grabbing before the sale ends on June 26.

The headline first-party and third-party Switch 2 discounts worth grabbing before the sale ends on June 26.

Amazon Prime Day is back, and the Nintendo Switch 2 side of the sale is doing something the eShop almost never does: cutting real money off recent first-party releases. Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, and a stack of strong third-party games are all marked down right now, which makes this a rare window to catch up without paying full price.

Quick answer: These Prime Day prices are live from June 23 through June 26, or until stock runs out, and you need an active Amazon Prime membership to claim them. Buy what you want early, because some deals expire once they sell through.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond$69.99$44.99
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom$79.99$59.88
Kirby Air Riders$69.99$49.99
Sonic Racing: Crossworlds$69.99$39.99
Hades 2$49.99$39.99

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond drops to $44.99

After one of the longest waits in recent Nintendo history, Samus is finally back, and the Metroid Prime 4: Beyond deal brings it down to $44.99 from $69.99. That $25 cut is the lowest the game has hit so far.

The campaign pits Samus against space pirates, lost civilizations, and a familiar enemy. The Switch 2 version is heavily optimized, with stable performance and sharp visuals, and it doubles as a showcase for the console’s mouse-mode aiming when you’re firing off the arm cannon.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for $59.88

The Switch 2 edition of Tears of the Kingdom takes one of the best games from the original console and adds technical enhancements on top. The Tears of the Kingdom deal knocks it to $59.88 from $79.99, saving you about $20.

You roam every layer of Hyrule, from the shadowy Depths underground to the sky islands above. It earned a perfect score from us at launch, and with an Ocarina of Time remake on the way later this year, this is a clean point to jump back into the series.

Kirby Air Riders falls under $50

A $69.99 price felt steep for this reimagining of the GameCube classic, even with Masahiro Sakurai directing. The Kirby Air Riders deal at $49.99 makes it much easier to recommend.

The racing is fast and chaotic, with combat sitting right alongside the finish-line scramble. Controls are simpler than Mario Kart World on the surface, but there’s real depth to master once you dig in.

Sonic Racing: Crossworlds is the biggest cut at $39.99

This is the steepest discount of the bunch. The Sonic Racing: Crossworlds deal drops the kart racer to $39.99 from $69.99, almost half off.

For under $40 you get more than 20 racers, 24 courses, and 15 crossworld tracks, plus free DLC characters like Red from Angry Birds, Persona 5’s Joker, and Hatsune Miku. The track design is the standout, and the high launch price was its main knock, so the cut fixes the biggest complaint.

Hades 2 lands at $39.99

Supergiant’s roguelike sequel is down $10 with the Hades 2 deal, bringing it to $39.99 from $49.99. The cartridge release also includes the Switch 1 version.

You take on Chronos across endlessly replayable runs, and post-launch updates have added narrative depth plus new ways to customize your familiars and the hub world. It’s a 10/10 in our book, with combat and visuals that hold up over long sessions.

More Switch 2 game deals worth a look

Beyond the five headliners, plenty of third-party Switch 2 games are discounted during the same window. Here’s how the prices shake out.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero$59.99$29.99
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade$39.99$29.99
Hitman: World of Assassination Signature Edition$59.99$29.99
Mario Tennis Fever$69.99$49.99
Monster Hunter Stories 3$69.99$55.99
Octopath Traveler 0$49.99$34.99
Resident Evil Requiem$69.99$53.19
Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage$49.99$29.99
Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties$49.99$29.99

First-party Switch 2 markdowns this deep don’t come around often, so the Zelda, Metroid, and Kirby cuts are the ones to prioritize if you’re choosing where to spend. Whatever you pick, lock it in before the sale wraps on June 26, since the better deals tend to sell out first.
