Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 went live on June 6, 2026, bringing a lush, tropical-themed island, a fresh Battle Pass headlined by Vanguard Slone, John Wick (Pen & Ink) and a wave of collabs, and a roster of characters scattered across the map. Talking to these NPCs can completely change the flow of a match — they top up your ammo, heal you, hire on as combat specialists, or even open a rift to whisk you out of the storm.
How NPCs work in Chapter 7 Season 3
There are two broad types of character on the island. Hireable specialists can be recruited for 350 Gold and will follow you around for the rest of the match, each filling a distinct role. Service NPCs charge 500 Gold for a one-off perk — maxing out your ammo, granting 100 health or shields, or spawning a rift. Service NPC offerings are randomized each match, so the exact option a character gives you can change from game to game.
The four hireable specialist roles break down like this: the Scout Specialist pings nearby enemies, loot and sprites; the Medic Specialist restores health and shields; the Heavy Specialist helps you win fights; and the Supply Specialist restocks ammo and building materials. Keep in mind that NPCs wander around their home POI, so if one isn’t exactly on the pin, look around the named location to track them down.
1. Peely
One of the newest additions, Peely, has set up at Shaken Sanctuary, over on a little corner of the triangle-shaped section of the POI. As a service NPC, Peely will max out your ammo for 500 Gold.

2. Olivia Rodrigo
The season’s headline collab NPC, Olivia Rodrigo, is found next to the dedicated Olivia Rodrigo tree, a landmark that has been on the island for a while as a nod to the artist. You can spawn a rift for 500 Gold, jam alongside her, and — best of all — simply talking to her rewards you with a free Olivia Rodrigo loading screen when you exit the match. Even if you don’t need the rift, she’s worth visiting for the freebie alone.

3. Vanguard Slone
Vanguard Slone’s spot has shifted this season — she now sits near the centre of the map, just east of Heatwave Harbor, in the area where the rift stabilizer is being built as part of the season’s storyline quests. Depending on when you drop in, that structure may be fully built, half-built, or not started at all. As a service NPC she’ll max out your ammo for 500 Gold, and you can also chat to her about the Zero Point and sprites. If the questline is still live, expect company — this is a hot, contested spot.

4. Cluster
Cluster is the rubber-ducky character perched on the giant duck-shaped ship out at Cluster Coast, on the south-western edge of the island. Make your way onto the deck and you can max out your ammo for 500 Gold, plus ask Cluster about sprites and business in general.

5. The Guardian
You’ll find The Guardian over at Golden Grove, on the eastern side of the map among the autumnal trees. Talk to this Seven-suited character to gain 100 health or shields for 500 Gold, or quiz them about joining the Seven — hinting they could be the group’s eighth member. Be ready for some bot trouble in the area.

6. Elite Daigo
Newly added as an NPC, Elite Daigo is found in the middle of Sunken Shores, toward the south of the map, often right around the water. He’s a hireable Medic Specialist for 350 Gold who restores health and shields, and you can ask him about the elites and Onshima. Daigo is heavily contested — plenty of players drop here purely to recruit him (or to grief), so land with a plan.

7. Heatwave PJ
Heatwave PJ hangs out at Latte Landing, in the snowy north-east of the island. She’s a hireable Scout Specialist for 350 Gold, pinging nearby enemies, loot and sprites — arguably one of the most useful recruits in the season. You can also ask her about sprites, running sprites, and DJ PJ.

8. Dylan
Dylan is tucked away at Heatwave Harbor, over on the right-hand edge of the POI. As a hireable Supply Specialist for 350 Gold, Dylan restocks your ammo and building materials, and you can also ask about runners, Cluster and sprites.

9. The Visitor (Reality Unknown)
The Visitor — also known as Jeno, a guise only Jonesy is supposed to know about — can be found at Shaken Sanctuary. Speak to him to max out your ammo for 500 Gold, or ask about the Zero Point and the Foundation.

10. The Singularity
The Singularity is positioned between Sinister Strip and Heatwave Harbor, on the edge of a building in that pocket of the map. As a service NPC she’ll spawn a rift for 500 Gold, giving you a quick escape route when the storm closes in.

11. The Order (Reforged)
Head to The Battlewoods to track down The Order (Reforged). Once you reach her, you can max out your ammo for 500 Gold or ask her about Jeno, the Seven and the Zero Point. As with several mid-map characters, this is a popular landing spot, so be prepared to contest it.

12. Rival Hope
Rival Hope is also based at Shaken Sanctuary. Talk to her to gain 100 health or shields for 500 Gold, or ask about Jonesy, the Zero Point or the Seven. There’s also a small secret nearby — a quest interaction that lets you wish Jonesy a speedy recovery.

13. John Wick (Pen & Ink)
The stylish Pen & Ink version of John Wick is out west at Calamari Canyon. He’s a hireable Heavy Specialist for 350 Gold — once recruited he follows you around lobbing explosives at enemies and targets, making him one of the strongest combat companions in the season. You can also ask him about the Boogeyman.

Making the most of NPCs
With 13 characters dotted around the island, it’s worth planning a couple of go-to stops based on how you like to play. If you favour aggressive pushes, recruiting John Wick at Calamari Canyon or Heatwave PJ at Latte Landing gives you a real edge in fights and information. If you prefer to play it safe, a rift from The Singularity or Olivia Rodrigo is a reliable storm-escape, while Elite Daigo‘s healing keeps you topped up. And since service offerings are randomized each match, it pays to know multiple locations so you can adapt to whatever the island gives you.
That’s every character location in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. Drop in, grab the recruits and services that suit your playstyle, and you’ll have a noticeable advantage heading into the late game.
