Practical Basketball Stress Test #3: End Time and Countdown

Updated July 30, 2026 By AllThingsHow Staff

Practical Basketball is in its final round of pre-launch testing, and the developer has opened Stress Test #3 to players now. Billed as the last testing phase before the full release, it is the biggest build of the game shared publicly so far, bringing most of the experience online at once so the studio can shake out bugs and see how the servers hold up before launch day.

The test runs from July 29 through August 12, 2026, and interest is already strong for a game that hasn’t officially launched. Exact start and end times are in the schedule below.

Last updated August 2, with Stress Test #3 the only event on the calendar. We’ll keep it current as the schedule changes on the way to launch.

Stress Test #3: the final pre-launch test

Stress Test #3, which the developer is calling the final stress test, is the last major test before Practical Basketball’s full launch. It went live on July 29, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET (12:00 PM PT, 2:00 PM CT, 7:00 PM GMT) and stays open through August 12, 2026 at the same time, a two-week window with over a week left to jump in.

For this build the studio has opened up most of the game at once: the Plaza and Park social spaces, the Rec Center, the Blacktop, League Mode and PlayNow for matches, Private Gyms for practice, and in-game tutorials for newcomers. The point of the test is straightforward, get enough people on the court to surface bugs and measure performance under real load before release.

Turnout is running well ahead of what an unreleased Roblox game usually draws: about 18,000 players have marked themselves as interested, which should give the developer plenty of activity to test against.
