Who is Alyosha?

Alyosha hails from Sretomorozsk in Snezhnaya, where the townsfolk know him as an exceptional hunter. He tracks prey with a nose as keen as any of his hounds and pairs a rifle with his spear, a combination sharp enough that some locals swear he must have ties to the Armory Palace. His constellation is Canis Borzoides, a nod to the Russian Borzoi dog breed.

His story is shaped by the cruelty of the Snezhnayan snowfields. The wind grinds down everything it touches, and simply crossing the frost demands warmth and, at times, lives. Alyosha steps into that freezing wild again and again to bring home food and hope, with the bitter cold itself standing as his true enemy.

He first appeared in the Snezhnaya Preview Teaser, “Frozen Tundra Shrouded in Wind and Snow,” fighting beside the Traveler, and his name was later revealed in the Transcendence Trailer, “Sudden Snow.” In that trailer he is seen speaking with Vodyanitsa about the laws that govern the world and their intent to move beyond them, and he shares connections with other Snezhnaya faces, including Odette.

Alyosha’s kit and role

Alyosha is built as an off-field support who leans into the region’s signature Stellar-Conduct reaction, which combines Electro and Cryo. He brings steady Electro application, a team attack buff, and healing, which makes him flexible enough to slot into more than one kind of team.

His Elemental Skill fires at enemies and applies Hunter’s Mark. Trigger that mark and nearby allies gain an attack boost. His Elemental Burst summons an Electro field that taunts enemies, damages them on a repeat timer, and prioritizes marked targets, while the damage also heals his allies. That combination gives Stellar-Conduct teams a reliable killzone when paired with a Cryo unit.

Like other Snezhnaya characters, he can also pinpoint local specialties on the map, which speeds up material farming in the new region. Strong partners include characters who scale on attack and want Electro application, such as Wriothesley and Sandrone.
