Apex Legends Season 30, called “Marked,” is confirmed for August 4, 2026. It drops worldwide at the same instant, right after the weekly reset, and Season 29 ends the exact second the new season begins, so there is no downtime gap to sit through.

Quick answer: Season 30 goes live at 10 AM PT / 5 PM UTC on August 4, 2026. Once the clock hits that mark, restart your client from wherever you launch the game and download the new files to play.

The update is available on every supported platform at launch. If you’re anywhere east of the UK, note that the rollover pushes you into the early hours of August 5 local time.

How to know it worked

Wait for the clock to reach 10 AM PT on August 4. Nothing appears before that timestamp, and there is no early access window.
Close and relaunch the game client on the platform you play on. The store or launcher will then surface the Season 30 download.
Install the new files and boot the game. You’ll know the season is live when the “Marked” branding, new Battle Pass, and the reworked Bloodhound show up in the menu. Anything unclaimed from the Season 29 pass is gone at rollover, and ranked resets for the fresh season.

What “Marked” brings at launch

The season name points straight at Bloodhound, who gets the headline overhaul. The kit touches all three abilities.

  • Passive — enemies now leave a glowing red trail.
  • Tactical — the scan hits twice instead of once.
  • Ultimate — deploys a device that cloaks Bloodhound and teammates.

Loba and Rampart both get buffs. Loba’s Black Market cooldown drops, and her tactical throw covers more distance and moves faster. Rampart becomes more mobile while firing the mobile Sheila, and her Amped Walls absorb more damage and build quicker.

On the gear side, new Corrupted Attachments arrive, each carrying a debuff tied to the weapon it’s attached to. Energy weapons also change, automatically regenerating ammo over time.

World’s Edge map changes

  • East Village replaces Climatizer, Bloodhound’s tribe base.
  • War Camp replaces Survey Camp and adds a close-quarters arena showdown.
  • A new Tree Settlement adds more vertical structures.
  • Sorting Factory returns to the map.
  • Construction stacks come back with the return of Fragment.
  • Rampart’s Big Maude parks on top of Landslide.

Marked lands Apex in its seventh year, and between the Bloodhound rework, the reshaped World’s Edge, and the new attachment system, the meta is due for a real shakeup the moment the timer hits zero.
