Live now: the Maximum Security prison update
Maximum Security opened Friday, August 21, 2026 at 2 PM ET and runs through Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 2 PM ET, with about about 3 days left to go. It builds a new prison landmark into Brookhaven and leans hard into roleplay: you can run the facility as the warden — triggering lockdowns, working from a private office, and carrying warden-only gear like a pistol and a tear gas launcher — or play an inmate plotting escape routes and working the yard, or a guard officer watching the CCTV and keeping order. It also adds prison tools such as handcuffs, a shank, and a scanner wand that flags armed players, plus a prisoner bus, three inmate outfits, and a fresh batch of alarm, spotlight, and yard props. More than about 280,000 players marked interest ahead of launch.
What’s next: Lavender Luxury
Once Maximum Security wraps, Lavender Luxury takes over from Friday, August 28, 2026 at 2 PM ET through Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 2 PM ET. Voldex is billing it as a lavender-themed housing update, with a new free house, a premium house, and fresh props to decorate with. Interest is already building well ahead of its start, with about 190,000 players signed up so far, and its Friday-afternoon slot keeps the studio’s weekly release cadence going.
Just wrapped: the bank revamp
The bank revamp ran Friday, August 14, 2026 through Thursday, August 20, 2026, opening and closing at 2 PM ET, and rebuilt Brookhaven’s bank around a new vault and manager’s office. It added refreshed keycards and credit cards; new cash, gold, and diamond bags; giant ruby and diamond tools; a bank-manager roleplay outfit; and a redesigned armored bank truck. It drew more than 400,000 interested players before closing, the day before Maximum Security opened.
Before that: futuristic homes
The week before, futuristic homes ran Friday, August 7, 2026 at 2 PM ET through the morning of Thursday, August 13, closing around 10:40 AM ET. It brought a neon-themed house and estate with five new furniture props, a VIP rocket car with speed-reactive effects and a galaxy texture, and an empty-plot home for players who would rather build from scratch. It was the biggest draw of these events by interest, pulling in more than half a million players.
