Chameleon’s newest update, Update 6 – PAYDAY, went live on July 25 and runs through July 31. It centers on a new Golden Chameleon game mode, adds a Futuristic Crate stocked with sci-fi-themed blasters, and puts coins directly into matches for both hiders and seekers to pick up.

What’s in it
The update reworks how a match can end and adds several new ways to earn rewards along the way:
- Golden Chameleon mode — hiders protect the Golden Chameleon from the Seekers; the round doesn’t end until it’s found.
- Futuristic Crate — a new crate holding sci-fi-styled blasters.
- In-match coins — coins now spawn during matches, free for either side to grab.
- Miss bonus — Seekers who fail to spot a hider still walk away with coins at the end of the match.
- Friend bonus — an added reward for playing alongside friends.
- Daily rewards — a new daily track for players who log in regularly.
