Endacopia: How to Beat Henry, the Ending A Final Boss

The final Escape-route fight is a timing puzzle where you bait Henry's swing into the arena's uvula instead of trading blows.

The final Escape-route fight is a timing puzzle where you bait Henry’s swing into the arena’s uvula instead of trading blows.

Henry is the final boss of Endacopia’s Ending A, the Escape or “Family!” route, and the fight happens inside the giant creature’s mouth after Mellow opens the last set of doors with Tip’s help. The twist is that Henry cannot be damaged by hitting him. You have to turn his own attack against the environment.

Quick answer: Never punch Henry. Wait for his large overhead swing, move your cursor toward the hanging uvula at the back of the arena so the swing arcs into it, then step Mellow out of the swing’s path before it lands. Repeat until the fight ends.

How the Henry fight actually works

This is not a block-and-counter encounter like the other bosses. Regular attacks do nothing meaningful to Henry. The only real damage source is the uvula that periodically drops into view at the back of the arena.

Henry’s big overhead swing follows your mouse cursor. That is the whole mechanic. By moving the cursor toward the uvula, you aim the swing upward so it clips the uvula instead of Mellow. Henry hurts himself by hitting it, and you simply avoid being in the way when the swing comes down.

Step-by-step: baiting the swing into the uvula

Stop trying to attack. Any hits you land on Henry are wasted, so focus entirely on movement and cursor placement instead of dealing direct damage.
Watch for the uvula to drop into view at the back of the arena. That appearance is your window to set up a hit.
Wait for Henry to wind up his large overhead swing. Do not reposition too early, or the swing can miss the target entirely.
Line Mellow up so Henry is between you and the uvula, then move your cursor toward the uvula so the swing arcs into it. The attack tracks the cursor, so the cursor position decides where the blow lands.
Move Mellow out of the attack path before the swing comes down. Done right, the strike passes over Mellow and hits the uvula instead.
Repeat the same setup each time the uvula reappears. A few clean hits push the fight into its final stretch.

Treat it as a rhythm rather than a brawl. Wind-up, aim at the uvula, slide out of the way, and let Henry do the work. That is the joke of the encounter — you never really beat Henry, you just keep redirecting him.

Common mistakes that make the fight fail

  • Attacking Henry directly, which produces no progress and leaves you exposed.
  • Moving away before the swing starts, which lets the attack miss the uvula.
  • Ignoring the cursor. The swing tracks it, so pointing away from the uvula sends the hit off-target.
  • Standing in the swing’s path after aiming it, which drops the attack on Mellow instead of the uvula.

Does beating Henry change your ending?

No. Winning the fight is not the same as choosing your ending. The A/B split is locked in much earlier, during the Chapter II epilogue, when you open Henry’s Saw Box and decide which saw to hand over.

The Saw Box code is 471, found in the PASSWORDS.TXT file on Henry’s computer account. The box only lets you take one saw, and you cannot go back for the other, so save before you commit.

Real sawEnding B — Return / “Family?”

Ending C, Stay or “Family.”, is the secret route. It requires clearing both A and B plus one hidden secret in each of the three areas. In Chapter II that means fighting the Trapezist rather than skipping her, and on that path you ignore the door asking to be opened during the Chapter III epilogue and head back to Mellow’s room instead. Because you can only take one saw per run, back up your save before making the choice so you can revisit both branches.

Once the uvula takes enough hits, the encounter resolves on its own and Mellow’s escape continues into the Ending A sequence. If you have already saved before the Saw Box choice, you can replay the same fight later while chasing Ending B and the secret Stay route.
