Far Far West Emotes List and Unlock Requirements

Far Far West Emotes List and Unlock Requirements

Emotes in Far Far West are cosmetic animations sold and unlocked through the Rootin' Tootin' Shop in the lobby. Most are bought with gold, while a few require completing specific in-game challenges. Once owned, they bind to a quick wheel and trigger with the emote key during a match.

Quick answer: Open the Rootin' Tootin' Shop in the lobby, buy emotes with gold (200–600) or finish the listed challenge for Dead Weight and Prisiadki, click a circle under the preview to slot the emote, then press T in-game to play it.

How to equip and use emotes

Step 1: From the lobby, head to the Rootin' Tootin' Shop. All emotes, along with skins and mounts, are listed there alongside their gold cost or challenge condition.

Step 2: Purchase or claim the emote you want. Gold-priced emotes unlock immediately on purchase, while challenge-locked emotes appear as owned once the matching condition is met.

Step 3: Open the emote preview and click one of the circles underneath it. Each circle is a slot on your equipped emote wheel, so assign your favorites to the slots you want.

Step 4: Load into a match and press T to play your equipped emote. The animation triggers in third person and is visible to other players in the lobby and during runs.

Far Far West emotes and unlock requirements

The shop sorts emotes by rarity tier, which also corresponds to the gold price. Finger Guns is granted by default, so every account starts with at least one emote available to slot. Two emotes, Dead Weight and Prisiadki, are gated behind challenges rather than gold.

Gold-purchased emotes

Gold is the universal cosmetic currency in Far Far West and also funds skins, mounts, and titles, so plan purchases around what you actually want to see in the lobby. The four Normal-tier emotes cost 200 gold each, the four Fine-tier emotes cost 350 gold each, and Rocking Chair, the only gold-priced Prime emote, costs 600 gold. Buying every gold-priced emote currently in the shop totals 3,800 gold.

Tip: Finger Guns is already in your collection at account creation, so it is safe to slot it immediately while you save up for higher-tier purchases.

Challenge-locked emotes

Two emotes cannot be bought outright and must be earned through gameplay challenges tracked in the shop entry itself.

Dead Weight (Prime): Unlocks after completing the "lose ten mission" challenge. The animation has the character keeled over and panting, fitting its origin from failed runs.

Prisiadki (Mythic): Unlocks after completing the "find disc fragments" challenge, which can be progressed on the Far West map. It is currently the only Mythic-tier emote and shows the character performing the traditional crossed-arms kicking dance.

Verifying an unlock

An emote counts as unlocked once its tile in the Rootin' Tootin' Shop no longer shows a price or challenge requirement and instead appears as owned. From there, the circles below the preview act as your equipped slots. If a newly purchased emote does not show up on the wheel in-match, return to the shop, reopen the emote, and click a slot circle to bind it before pressing T again.

With twelve emotes spread across Normal, Fine, Prime, and Mythic tiers, the full set is reachable through a mix of gold spending and two specific challenges, and Finger Guns covers the gap until your first purchase lands.
