The Google app for iPhone and iPad devices just got a lot better with version 59. Now, when you search for something using the app, you can open pages from search results in different tabs by long pressing on the links.

The inability to open different pages at once from the search results is the main reason most of us use a web browser to search on Google on our smartphones. But with tabs support in the Google app, you can now open multiple pages at once from the search results and websites within the Google app itself.

The updated app also adds support for security alerts for your Google account directly through the Google app.
