Make a Group Call in Teams app from the Calls tab

Open the Microsoft Teams app on your iPhone and tap on the ‘Calls’ tab at the bottom of the screen.

Then, tap on the ‘New Call’ button on the upper right corner of the screen.

The ‘Make a Call’ screen will open.

Type the names of the people you want to call in the ‘To’ textbox and select the option from the suggestions when they appear.

Then, tap on the ‘Phone’ icon on the right to make the call after all the names have been added.

The group call made from here can be turned into a video call after the call has been placed.

Once you make a group call, a new group chat will also be created with the members you called. You can then even make a group call directly from the group chat in the future by following the steps explained below.

Make a Group Call from a Group Chat

If the people you want to call are already a part of a group chat, you can call them directly from there. Go to the ‘Chats’ tab from the bottom of the screen.

Then, open the group chat to call its members. Tap on either the ‘video call’ or the ‘audio call’ symbol to make the type of group call you want to.

Choose whether you want to make a group audio or video call.

A message will appear on the screen asking whether you want to call everyone in the group. Tap on the ‘Call’ option in the pop-up message to complete the group call.
