Instagram has completely changed the photo-sharing experience for the entire human race. Not even the founders of Instagram could ever imagine the popularity it has reached over the years now.
In 2021, Instagram has become a noun and a verb. It has benefitted not only the teenagers posting pictures of savory dishes, but also the content creators who can now build a public portfolio of their work to showcase to the world.
As of 2 days ago, Instagram pushed a new update which removed the ‘Select multiple’ option from its interface. The internet went gaga over it, as they assumed, they will now have to do the donkey work of choosing a single image at a time. However, that is not the case. Read down below to post multiple photos on Instagram.
Select and Post Multiple Photos on Instagram
To get started, tap on the ‘+’ icon from the top right corner of your screen.
Now, for selecting multiple pictures at once. Tap and hold on to one of the pictures you want to upload. It will bring up the selection tool which was earlier triggered through a button.
You will now be able to select as many as 10 pictures at once by tapping on the image thumbnail to upload in a single post.
Now, tap on the ‘Next’ option to confirm your selection and move to next step.
Next, select any filters you might want to apply to the pictures available on the bottom section of the screen.
After that, tap on the ‘Next’ option to move to next step.
Finally, add a caption to the stack of pictures by tapping on the ‘Write a caption…’ text area if you wish to. After that, tap on the ‘Share’ option to post all the pictures on Instagram.
Removing a Photo from the Selected Photos
Now that you know how to add multiple pictures at once, learn to remove them as well.
To reorder a picture from the lot, double tap on the image thumbnail to remove its designation from the list.
