The QuickTake feature on iPhone 11 let’s you record a video in the camera app straight from the photo mode. All you need to do is tap and hold the shutter button. As quick as that.
📱 Compatibility
QuickTake is supported on iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max only.
It’s the most convenient thing Apple has added to the new iPhones. And we wish the company hadn’t kept it exclusive for the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro only. It’s a software feature, a simple press and hold of a button that all iPhone could have enjoyed with the iOS 13 update.
Anyway, if you have got yourself an iPhone 11, open the camera app to start using QuickTake. Tap and hold the shutter button in photo mode to instantly record a video.
Releasing the shutter button will stop the recording. If you wish to continue recording without keeping your thumb pressed, swipe your thumb towards the “lock icon” on the right edge of the screen and release.
That easy. We hope Apple brings QuickTake to previous iPhone devices as well in a future iOS 13 update.
