Eden Cradle is the Seed Vault that arrived with Update 04: Below Us, sitting on the eastern edge of the map at coordinates 167, 34. No Navigation Beacon reveals it, so you have to sail there yourself — head northeast of Exodus Station and the white offshore structure eventually breaks the horizon. The quest itself is short on paperwork and long on wiring, dark corridors, and Rollers.
Quick answer: Power the exterior building, ride the elevator to the bottom, feed a Small Battery into the master power room, authorize The First Reserve, The Safe Divide, and The Last Remainder at their PECO 1.0 terminals, then take the elevator back up and scan the pyramid model in the upper room with your Replica Scanner.

What to load into your ship before you dock
The facility has two doors on the front of the building. The ground floor door only needs power. The upper floor door stays locked and tells you outright that you need access to every seed room first, so there is no shortcut past the tunnels.
| Bring | Why |
|---|---|
| Wind Turbine or Solar Panel parts, plus cable | Permanent power for the exterior building, which runs the main doors and the elevator |
| Small Battery (at least one, ideally two) | Temporary power for the lower tunnels via the master power room |
| Weapon and a lot of ammo | Rollers patrol the corridors and corrupted growths block several doors |
| A light source | The lower levels are pitch black until the tunnels are powered; a head-worn lantern works well |
Tip: bring spare junction boxes and extra cabling if you would rather run a permanent line down the elevator shaft instead of relying on a battery timer.

Eden Cradle runs on two separate circuits. The exterior building handles the front doors and the elevator. Everything below ground is on its own system, and nothing you build outside will light it up until you deal with the master power room.
Note: a Small Battery does not last forever. If you move quickly you can clear all three authorizations on one charge, but running permanent cables down from your exterior setup removes the timer entirely.
The three PECO terminals and what they unlock
Each seed chamber is sealed behind its own authorization file, stored on a PECO 1.0 terminal somewhere else in the maze. You connect to the terminal, download the code, and the matching chamber door unlocks. The chambers can be done in any order, but the route below wastes the least walking.
| Chamber | Terminal prompt |
|---|---|
| The First Reserve | Acquire the First Reserve Chamber Authorization |
| The Safe Divide | Acquire the Safe Divide Chamber Authorization |
| The Last Remainder | Acquire The Last Remainder Chamber Authorization |

Tunnel routes to each seed chamber
The lower level is a loop of near-identical circular corridors, and it is very easy to walk in circles for twenty minutes. Use the barrels, the angel room, and the elevator hall as landmarks — they are the only reliable reference points down there.

Collecting the human seeds
Each chamber holds rows of seed pods, and the human seeds inside can be carried out. They are bulky, so expect several trips back to the elevator platform if you want all three. Hauling them is not what closes the quest, but the elevator platform is the sensible staging point if you plan to move them up to the surface afterward.
Robotic enemies you destroy along the way can be dismantled where they fall, which is worth doing on the return trips since you are already walking the same corridors.

Why the run stalls
- The upper door refuses to open. All three chambers must be entered and registered first; downloading an authorization is not enough on its own.
- Doors in the tunnels will not budge. The lower level lost power, which means the Small Battery in the master power room has drained.
- The ground floor door and elevator are dead. The exterior power building has not been wired up or its switch was never flipped.
- You cannot find a route. Corrupted growths seal several passages and need to be shot out before the door behind them will open.
Wrapping up here rolls straight into First Roots, which sends you to Eden Platform Pishon, northeast of the Last Listener Station, to build the Eden Frame and plant your first tree. Stock up on Stainless Steel before you sail — the frame alone eats 50 of it.
