Land Color: Driftwise is a Journey quest set in Tideblossom Coast and the sixth of ten quests in the Fragrant Dream chapter. It asks you to track down a specific perfume and use it to restore color to one of the Colorless Dreams gathered at the Amethyst Tree.
Quick answer: Interact with the Colorless Dream: Driftwise at the Amethyst Tree in Tideblossom Coast and give it the Heart’s Resonance perfume. The quest closes and pays out 5 Glimmer and 60 Safaris.
How to unlock Land Color: Driftwise
The quest unlocks when you finish the A New Journey main story quest and activate Clue: Colorless Dream: Driftwise. Then travel to the Amethyst Tree in Tideblossom Coast and inspect the seedling. Ten Colorless Dreams form a circle around the seedling in the middle; Driftwise is among them.
The closest fast-travel point is the Transporter in Tideblossom Coast, which drops you near the tree.
Get the Heart’s Resonance perfume first
You cannot complete the quest without the Heart’s Resonance perfume in your inventory. It is the reward for finishing two Journey quests tied to the Driftwise Meadow area.
- Fentufts and the Nimbi
- A Fragrant Journey: Driftwise Meadow
The perfume is described as a blend crafted from the Bittersweet Bloom found in Driftwise Meadow, which carries the blue of the Breezy Plains. Clear both quests before returning to the Amethyst Tree.
Complete Land Color: Driftwise
Both objectives sit in the same spot at the Amethyst Tree, so once you have the perfume the whole quest takes only a moment.
Land Color: Driftwise rewards
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Glimmer | 5 |
| Safaris | 60 |
You know the quest worked when the Colorless Dream regains its color and the objective tracker updates to complete, with the 5 Glimmer and 60 Safaris landing in your inventory. With Driftwise restored, the next dream in the Fragrant Dream chapter, Land Color: Glimmer, becomes your next target at the same tree.
